How far can this go? I was thinking of having 2 fighters slam against a fractal boole object and have the animation stop on the fractured pieces and it stop on the fractured edge of the main object. For example, lets say the model in this figure gets its nose broken off. The part where the nose use to be will look like a regular fracture but the rest of the head still has the animation. Is this something you plan on working on?

Unfortunately this is the only way. Octane for cinema 4d has the boole feature but it's not implemented correctly yet.

As long as meshes are converted to volume SDF you can do it :)

yeah, for some reason they removed this feature from latest Octane version, use 2022 and it will work
