- Note: In this episode I mistakenly referred to Andrew as Anthony. I'm sorry for any confusion my mistake may have caused. I'm only human. :)
Andrew, probably the wealthiest, most influential man in Fall River, Massachusetts was found on the first floor of his home. His wife was found in her upstairs bedroom. They had been murdered. But by whom? Find out more in this episode of Paul Harvey's "The Rest of the Story."

Thanks for this most interesting post, Brad! This has always been an intriguing case to me. Thanks for sharing your research! Have a blessed day!
I'm very glad you enjoyed it. I've always been interested in the case as well. It's sad from all perspectives. :)
@@BradDisonYes, it is.

The book you showed, looked like a comic. It had a Dell on the upper left-hand corner. It had a 50 cent mark on the upper right-hand corner. The top of the page it said, The sensational nation-wide best seller at $4.50 now 50 cents. I am sure it was just a book, but it reminds me of the old Illustrated comics. Great video. You and your team seem to do a lot of research. Please thank your team for me. I do appreciate all the research you all do. Keep up the great work. I'll be watching. Have a wonderful and safe Halloween.
It does resemble old comics. I need to look into that book and see if I can find out more about it. Thank you for the kind words again, Steven. Happy and safe Halloween to you too, my friend. :)
@@BradDison Are you telling me YOU had the book. Way cool. The Dell Publishing was part of the comic book world. From 1929 to 1974. In 1953 Dell claimed to have the biggest comic book sells at 26 million a month. That's why I thought it was a comic. or at least hoping it was. LOL
Best time to clean windows is around dawn where it is light enough to see but not hot enough to work.I knew it was the Lizzy Borden case when you said windows.I saw that movie with Elizabeth Montgomery.
That's good advice. I try to avoid cleaning windows. I haven't seen the movie. I'll have to check it out. Thank you for making me aware of it. :)
Such a good one!
Nicely done Brad, Thanks
I'm very glad you enjoyed it, Tom. :)
Lizzie did it. She had enough of her over bearing step mom and resented her dad for not stopping the abuse
I've always believed Lizzie was guilty as well. :)
Thank you
I’m glad you enjoyed it. :)
You really need to stay on your toes. Its usually right there bubbling under the surface. It's amazing how close many people are to just freaking out and going nuts.
You're right. It's strange what can set people off. :)
My daughter and I spent some time at the house 2 yrs ago, actually slept in the "Murder Room" . Lizzy went on to do a wealth of good things with the money, even donating a large amount to the Hume Society / ASCPA, Also, no one ever mentions that Lizzie's Uncle ( her real mother's brother) was in town during the time of the murders as well )
That's neat that you stayed in the house. If you ever get a chance, you should read the newspaper articles about the event. There were many people whom I would have considered suspects. Very interesting. :)
Your a doing an outstanding job! I am hooked, I'm originally from around Mamou ! Take care and have a safe 2024@@BradDison
I've heard of the maid being a suspect but not the story behind why she was suspected. Thanks for your research.
It's possible Lizzie and Bridget were in on the murders together. Just a thought.🤷🏼♀️
I’m glad you enjoyed it. It’s such a curious and interesting case. :)
Sorry about that Paul Harvey but I can't agree with you on this one. I've been reading everything I could possibly read on this case since 1985, and studying it thoroughly. I can come to only one conclusion Lizzie Borden did it. All the evidence although circumstantial, points to her
That's what my personal opinion is as well. :)
I have to say, remember and learn from, the past to help you from making mistakes in the future, but never live in the past trying to make decisions of others that have gone on before. I don't know who the killer was, don't care, but saying a certain person did it from opinions of others can't really be fair.
Reminds me vaguely of another double murder out here in southern California. Her name was Nicole, the young man was Ronald, and their killer was never brought to justice. I think of the victims in both cases, how no one deserves to be brutally slain, no matter the motive.
You're right. That's very sad. I don't think I've ever heard of that case. I'll have to look it up. :)
@@BradDison Oh, believe me, you know it. I'm referencing Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ronald Goldman, and how O.J. Simpson got away with it!
There are no hallways in this house 😳
I haven't been to it for myself but it's on my list. :)
The guides on the house tell stories of all kinds, they are no help when it comes to rational thinking. To them, it's all about getting your money. They have no interest in the truth🙄
I believe the father's name was ANDREW Borden, not Anthony. You should check these facts before posting a video.
You’re right. I made a mistake. It’s not my first and won’t be my last. :) I’ll make a note of my mistake in the comments. Thank you for pointing this out to me. :)
While i am not going to speculate whether Lizzie Borden really did the murder or not i will say this gives me a sermon thought. It is based on Rev.20:10-15. The title will be Lord willing THE DAY TRUTH COMES OUT. I plan to deal with such issues as Lizzy Borden, Jack the Ripper, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and other situations like that where people tend to point out discrepancies in some of the reports. I doubt any of these will ever be fully resolved in this life. But at the day of The Great White Throne Judgment they will all be known!
I would love to hear your sermon. It sounds fascinating. Do you live stream or film them?
@@BradDison I am on RUclips. Give me a little time. I got to do a little research. But I am on RUclips.
By the way. This year will be the 60th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination. So I am sure there will be tons of information out now that may not have been before.
