    Wow, farm equipment and choices is getting bigger all the time. My first days of farming were back in the fifties.
    I've seen so many changes it's hard to imagine, but what I think about most of all is the acreage needed to be able to afford that big stuff. How things get. Bigger and more powerful tractors.
    How much land you have to have to farm for all that big expensive tractors and stuff.
    When you talk about tractors and equipment costing hundreds of thousands of dollars... that's just hard for me to imagine.

    A do all chopper on back of that ripper does way better job than that roller w the fingers on it. The roller on front w coulters really helps you to go into corn stalks sometimes w nothing running ahead of you or wheat because the roller w coulters n front the shanks forces the trash down and to get cut to be able to run that foot thru the trash

    • @PatrickShivers
      @PatrickShivers  Год назад +1

      A lot of great info there Chad. What part of the country are you in? Down here in the deep southeast that ripper roller is the hottest thing around. Nearly everyone runs them. I’m still pulling a V-rip with wavy disc in front of shanks & large drag pipe behind
