I was thinking the same. I love darkfield. His is more like greyfield, and his phase has halos from a cheap PC optics. Wonder what country produced it. Hmmm.
@@extrememiami Could be anything, for some reason 100 dollar eye piece cameras are abysmal. Or he’s using a small diameter DF stop. But at the end, it’s nowhere near true dark field which uses a specialized DF condenser

Your darkfield contrast is way too low, the specimen is blown up while the background is gray.
