Black Bear Scratch Alaska

  • There is an estuary in Herring Cove, Alaska where black bears visit to eat sedge grass and catch spawning salmon. I filmed three bears this evening and this clip is my favourite. Bears leave their scent on trees and other surfaces so the next passing bear can smell which bear passed through before.
