I discovered you on your Vildhjarta deep dive several months ago, and that definitely played a role in me diving back into them. I'm loving the Forte remasters, and I'm so glad they're back and releasing more new music!
To answer some FAQ: Earthside is an instrumental 4-piece (guitar, drums, keys, and bass-with our guitarist and keyboardist scoring much of our orchestration) and we collaborate with both vocalists and instrumentalists/ensembles from various genres of music (in addition to our instrumental "just Earthside" songs). Think of it kind of like a "Metal Massive Attack."

After you'd been remarking on Gennady's use primarily more in the background, I spent several minutes just gearing up for 10:56 in this video, knowing that that was THE climactic Gennady moment, and seeing the face you made several seconds later paid off that anticipation for me. I felt it was our sacred duty to deliver on the Gennady promise for you in the climax, so I'm relieved we didn't blue-ball you. 😉💙💙

You should check out Earthside's track "Mob Mentality." It features Lajon from Sevendust (a vocal powerhouse in his own right) and the Moscow Studio Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra brings an incredible dynamic to the track, and with you enjoying the orchestral elements of this track, you're sure to enjoy Mob Mentality. There's lots of people in the comments mentioning the title track from A Dream In Static with Dan which is a good one as well, but I personally prefer Mob Mentality-the orchestra makes it a much more unique experience.

Love that you checked this one out! Earthside have produced some of the best modern prog tracks collaborating with fantastic vocalists! The first single with Dan is one of my top tracks of all time as well as the collab with Björn Strid. They have a new album coming out soon. I’m really excited already! 💜

This songs a perfect 100/10 and dans vocals fit in any genre of music weather it’s metal, prog, pop, etc. You should really check out his other side projects if you haven’t already. Skyharbors “Guiding Lights” is a masterpiece of an album

They’re mainly an instrumental band but have a lot of guests vocalists on their songs such as Bjorn from Soilwork and Lajon from Sevendust.

Something tells me Tesseract's new album when it drops is going to blow Sonder out of the water. Even though Sonder is such a great album I do agree Dan's vocals have been getting better and better. I am beyond excited for the album release also I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Earthside was the band that opened up for Vola when I saw them in Montreal. Really dig this song \m/

I remember when I first discovered this band back in 2018. I just happened to be browsing around on RUclips for music and they somehow popped up in my at home music feed and I was like OK I’m gonna check this out. I’ve been hooked ever since. Every person in the band has music degrees and degrees and sound engineering and mastering and all that stuff so of course this album is gonna sound insanely crisp just like their first one. November 17 get here fast enough

Huhh that's an interesting comparison. That game definitely has a vibe, so that's cool. I keep trying to get into the fighting game, but it overwhelms me more than learning all the parts I had to play for this song 😋
@@benearthside Hi Ben! Its mostly the string sections where I hear it but it has this very classy vibe that my brain just connected to that game haha. Fighting games is just music theory for gamers :) so I can relate. Thanks for the absolute quality!

You really need to listen to "A Dream in Static" and "We Who Lement" ft Keturah. Better songs than this one, imo.
