How come it's a 2017 car but its got the latest info system, my 2018 scout has the previous system,
Brilliant very competent good value esrate, BUT why doesn't Skoda UK give a petrol and a manual option .....they do exist in Mainland Europe
My 2018 scout is a manual gearbox, but it has the later version info system to the one shown in this review, maybe the UK cars didn't get the updated version,

But it is the size of an Passat.
Not really, the Passat is 4777 mm long whereas the Octavia is 4687 mm. Golf Alltrack is 4578 mm. In general the Octavia is a twin to the Golf (just a little bit bigger and more beautiful, and cheaper, of course).
