- In a new video series from Powder Productions, called Passing Through, we head to Whitefish, Montana, to explore the skiing and scene on and off the hill in this great little town in Northwest Montana.
I was there 10-12 years ago and it was the best trip of my life. So much snow...free refills for days on end. Met a couple of lifties (Lee and Travis) I'll never forget their names. Those 2 dudes took me everywhere. The backdoor to Evans, Liftie's Stash, and the single best run of my fucking life, the one, the only, The Canyon. Go to the Bierstube (it was free beer night my first day there, yes, free beer night) for an awesome time and don't forget to get your ring at the 'stube!
B Dawkins Go Back! No place like the fish
I was born there
Good thing everyone is moving here now...☹
I live 15 miles South of Whitefish. In Kalispell. If you love the outdoors you will love this area. Near Glacier Park, Flathead Lake.
One day......One day.....
What an amazing video! Everything looks awesome! the people, the town, the snow. Congrats on the video, great editing as well!
Whitefish is honestly so underrated! I'm from Canada but have been there twice, and both times we've been dumped on.
Happy Sendings same I’m going again tomorrow
i live down here and we always have dumps of new snow gotta love it
I live on the Resort and let me tell you it’s probably the best place in the world mountain biking skiing I get emotional sometimes
There is god and this is heaven
9Biloela99 I go up there form California every year since about 3 years ago. I would have to say it is heaven it is beautiful in every sense of the word. Stay a secret Whitefish!
so true
@@jimbo7105 stay secret is right!! Missoula used to be secret as well, but now the words out and it's blowing up... but whitefish is legit my favorite place to board in the US. Pow for days if you get bored of groomed runs. 🤘😛
@@allensmith.aaffect.1626 i live in eureka montana.40 min from whitefish
I was born in Heaven then
whitefish is one of those hidden gems. Montana is a place of wonder and beauty. It has this vibe of calm and a place that is welcoming. It is a big difference from Californian skiing where I’m from. Everyone is nice on the mountain and will give you helping hand. December and January is the best time to go because the whole mountain is engulfed in powder but the one downside it is colder than any other resort I have been to.
Ping I love in Stowe VT and trust me it is way colder here.
Man, I love Whitefish! I come up every year!
Is it winter time yet? 😍
will I be put on to the cross for bringing my board?
haha no we are a pretty chill folk snowboarders are just as common as skis on the mountain🤙
You featured a local legend, and you didn't even know it...
Your videos are bomb. Thanks for sharing!!

Super crowded little town.

543 more days until it's a reality for me. #Goals
How is it for riding?
Last season was the best i've ever had and this season has had some decent powder days and the spring days are off the charts right now
Is there anything else to do in the winter, besides skiing? Just wondering!
Why would you want to do anything else?
Dog sledding, snow mobiles, nordic, trap shooting
Dogsled races, snowboarding, sledding, snowmobiling, building igloos..lol. I did when I grew up there.

I am searching for a northern Montana town to move in from Europe and I think this the one
I grew up there. I still miss it decades later. I loved the lake, the camping, winter and summer carnivals, and it's about twenty mins from the door to Glacier National Park
Two plankers lol
If only the true locals could afford ski passes and good housing
I lived there twelve years. Our family was too poor to ski.I was always in the lake though.
