This video just confirmed to me that I have a true rare gem. My boyfriend is Gambian and we met when I came to visit Gambia this year. He is very hardworking, he works 2 jobs and he even feels uncomfortable relaxing, not lazy at all. He is also very loving and caring, he calls me baby, honey, love, his soulmate. He is very romantic and holds my hand everywhere, kisses me in front of anyone, and surprises me with gifts and dates so he is very romantic. He is also very helpful, he’s done my laundry for me without me asking, always helps me clean without me having to say a word, and has cooked for me when I was sick before. I will say he can be a bit prideful and doesn’t like to ask for help, which he has been working on and has made huge improvements. I also had to teach him to apologize to me when he did something wrong, eventually he learned to do it because he saw how it hurt me when he didn’t lol. He’s very protective of those he loves and people in general. Also he’s not stingy at all and would literally give me his last. I am an American woman and he’s older by 8 years so maybe this changes things a bit but my Gambian man is the most amazing man I’ve ever met and we plan to marry next year ❤ so ladies just know not all men are the same and don’t give up hope

I worked in Kansas City US with a Gambian man, his family was back home .
He worked from 2pm-10pm at one Nursing home, then 10:30pm to 6:30pm at other one just 5 mins drive away from the other one. He owns at least 50 extremely well build homes in Gambia.
Baba was a very hard working man and was in his late 40s, so that lazy part doesn’t apply to all of them.
Been with a Gambian for 3 years he works for City of Banjil plus coach the company soccer team have a vegetable garden I picked and run family chicken coop also every year he is on the Markisa festival planning panel when I am there I follow him around and I get tired plus he went in my suitcase while I was sleep one time washed all my underwear and hung them outside cooked dinner made me coffee he hates sitting down always working on something. Omg yes friends 2 of the besties always around drinking green tea after work these gentlemen have jobs but yes my BF has short temper when I accuse him he proves in great length and I do be wrong he don't get nasty he just gets sad and emotional 90% of time I run things he is more quiet person. Yes prideful smh. Also you tell a long sad story and his only reply sorry lol I noticed when we started dating he never said sorry but after 3years being with me he says it often. No problem with romantically. Very great communicator talks every problem out until it is solved when I wake everything is done I don't have to ask him to do nothing seriously. Open car door for me take in groceries called hairstylist up had her come over to do my hair I didn't ask him. So somethings are true depending on the person. I say depending on whether he a bumster or not. Also I do think it's where the female is from I am from the USA.
