Sounds like you need more Mandala practice. It's quite pretentious and misguided to challenge Lama la to "uplift" even more by not mentioning politics. Because Lama La uses our current Commander in Chief as an example of certain types of characteristics that are modern and easily recognizable in relationship to certain buddha families by no means qualify as "political." If you were paying attention, the teaching offers a transformative exit should one recognize the door but also, the teachings offer ways to recognize our shadow and transform that through the mandala practice reaping the wisdom gleaned from acknowledging unresourceful qualities. It's also short-sighted to arrogantly presume a majority of Dharma practitioners are liberal. What is your evidence?
