If love really loved Joe she would not have cheated on him with the neighbor and been fine with hsi affair with natalie as long as it was just a sexual fling and not his new obsession which it was clearly becoming. If love really loved joe he would have said bring natalie over and have us both. We all know 99.99 percent of men want that anyways.

As soon as they moved to that suburban area and Joe got just a glimpse at their new neighbour, he instantly started obsessing over her, after finally getting what should have been the love of his life, no pun intended.
Joe had the perfect woman for him, one who new the truth about him and accepted it. But he fucked it up.
If Joe really loved and appreciated Love, he wouldn't have even looked at that neighbour woman in more than a neighbourly way.

Imagine if he'd actually said that? You're clearly just talking as a horny guy that wants a threesome. That's not how love works, especially theirs. But later in the Season they actually try involving other people in sex... and it doesn't go well.
