I only made Mcdavid because im free to play and i play mostly offline, but yeah, it was a helluva lot easier to make the toty this year compared to previous years
I mostly play offline this year but do Rivals or Champs sometimes because of XP as it’s easier to finish the XP path that way. I just think that the event collectible sets prior TOTY helped a lot when we could get a lot of fodder

I made 4 toty cards, and I could've made 5 or 6 but I'm building an American theme team. As for Hellebuyck, he plays well for the most part and has free abilities but he also lets in his fair share of bad goals too.
You could also do the Kucherov TOTY since you already have his Captain card..I have done 3 TOTY so far am I think I might be able to trade in the Kucherov Xfactor for his TOTY if all goes well this week
I maybe have enough to make 1 more toty. I have base 90 makar but im debating if its worth it to upgrade him to ultimate or just make the base 90 hellebuyck as well. I already have mac, heise, mcdavid, and keller ultimates. Still using 86 askarov as my goalie.
I don´t use auction house or coins much, so I would keep Chara, he is one of my all time favourite players, but 900k is a lot of coins. Congratulations for a nice pull😀
I need doing to do make videos of team builds and stuff so I sold him, just think it’s not good to keep so expensive player in your team really when you can just make a TOTY card for example for same amount of coins
Do not make hellebuyck. With all abilities active he all over the place and let's in weird goals. Tried to power him down but didn't make a difference. He in my backup for synergies. That's all. Worst goalie ever

Keeping Chara would be better as you were joyful, whereas if you sell him, you'll lose the joy for "money" that won't mean anything once TOTY season's over with, as EA won't have much else to sell us, especially with no GWC to push ourselves to better our teams. You "won" at the peak of EA NHL '25. Time to focus on MLB soon.

I’ve played multiple hellebuycks, and he’s unreal. I still beat the guys I played, but he saved 4-5 goals every game.
I have until Friday to decide who else to make and it just feels like the goalie would be the option but Spooner would also be fun to use

Yes, with the next few events you will recover your team if you do the chores while McDavid will be a top card on your first line all year

I just flip high overall cards, but then sell 50k less than they go in AH and sell them for more
