The time was right to film at this location. The first 4 weeks of winter (November, December) was the snowiest period, then temperatures always went above freezing, melting the snow, with fresh snow every week, but that's why there are no huge snow piles on most winter walks this year. March is the last winter month, but i suspect there won't be much more.

This was once again a magical night with snow. Finland and Sweden are very much alike because they share over 500 years of history. Because i myself have moved to Finland, i can also say that the Finnish language will be more difficult to learn than Swedish. Fortunately, you can do your daily needs with English, especially in big cities like Helsinki. Have a nice weekend Angelic

One of favorite type of weather to go for a walk. Very chill vibe! I wouldn't have thought at first it was at 22 on a Saturday night. Looked like 3 am at first lol. I hope we get nice snowfall in Helsinki this year as well, not always a guarantee in the south.
Good morning Keith, the real traditional color for wooden houses in Finland and Sweden is Falun Red, which was mainly used by the working class, while the upper class had more colorful (expensive) colors. In recent years, the use of colorful paint has also been used as a means to brighten up the dark winter days. Thanks for watching, have a nice day 👋
