Love it!!
@@tcpnetworks very happy to hear you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀
Great video 😊...I've watched the train pass for years, but this perspective is wonderful. So many familiar buildings and crossings ❤
@@susanjacquier5358 very happy you enjoyed this different look at the railway and enjoyed it 👍😀
What a beautiful trip🙏
You've got a great channel going here mate. Thanks for all the time you're putting in. Cheers 👌
@@Leo-hv9mm thank you. I'm very happy to hear you enjoy the videos. 👍😀
Home town (Victor) and favourite railway! But a view we don’t usually get to see…. Another great ride. Thank you!
You're welcome. Very happy to hear you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀
Ah, more memories.
I'll expand on that by saying I now live in WA, my mother was born in Pt Augusta and grew up in Tarcoola. My father worked for SA railways and we grew up in Adelaide.
@@ColinPacker sounds like quite a lot of memories of SA railways. And quite a connection. 👍😄
@@driver667 Connections, yeah. I didn't mention Mum's dad was a Fireman/Driver on the East-West line.
Never knew him as he died of an infection at the beginning of WW2.
@@ColinPacker it was a much harder life back then. We have it much easier now. 🤔👍
That's an excellent train ride. Thank you very much for uploading this one.
@@dja69 you're welcome. Very happy you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀

I can hear this train from my house in Gtown.
@@AntifoulAwl nice train to have in your area. 👍😀
@@driver667 with this and the Oscar W, it's like living in a train set. 😃
@@AntifoulAwl 🤣🤣👍😀
Great to see the semaphore signal.
@@paulebberson4884 it is nice to see some older signalling. 👍😀
Impressive

Don’t stop
@@RegexGreen817 thank you. Glad you enjoy them. 👍😀

What date was this filmed
@@Breakdancer2024 May 12. 👍😀
Pity I didn't know you were filming that day. If I did, I would have waved idiotically with an inane grin on my face.🤓
@@martythemartian99 👋👋we'll pretend that you were and I saw you. 😀😀👍
@@driver667 Works for me. A large portion of my life is make believe.🤪
@@martythemartian99 🤣🤣 it helps to get through the days. 😄👍
I used to work on that particular engine when it was on the narrow gauge in Peterborough, then the fireman’s job to keep pressing a button about every couple of minutes to stop the dead man’s brake activating as well as changing points if going into a passing lane, that was in the 1960’s
@@crippledtruckie6461 sounds like some good memories. Glad you enjoyed the video 👍 😀
Who was driving
@@Breakdancer2024 I don't remember the crews names off the top of my head. 👍😀

I wonder how many teaspoons of chip shop oil that old stonker consumes as it idles along.... ahem
@@annpeerkat2020 hmmm.... 🤔 I don't reckon it would run to well on old chip shop oil. 🤣🤣👍
@@driver667 oh...pity! I've known a few land cruisers that do OK. Smell very salivating too! Don't need electronic tracking devices to know when they go past!
Well... I should mention one of my favourite words... a bit of trans (transesterification) helps the running quality.
@@annpeerkat2020 🤣🤣👍😀
