Jealous, i really wanted to float this stretch. The water was already too low when i floated Ponca to Kyles on a saturday, my energy level was waaaay to try to fight the river another day. Still got ,y fingers crossed but at this point probably looking at next year i think.
@DavyPete I enjoy my perception pescador 10. I have a review video on it. My brother has the "pro" version with a much better seat. I would recommend a the sit-on top style, with dry storage and a raised seat. I mostly cruise slow rivers, lakes and fish. And need storage for over night trips. If you are going to do any white water stuff you would want to look into a sit-in boat with a skirt. Ozark Mountain Trading Company can get you set up. They have several locations, tons of options, and all the knowledge.
Nice looking river. Looks like you guys enjoyed the trip. Thanks fir sharing.
@@DennyT71 thanks for watching!
When was this?
@@chrisbarnes9438 end of May. We had a little bit more rain than usual this year. Spring is the best time to float this

I feel that! I think you're probably right about next year.
What is the best month to float this stretch?
Any recommendations on the type and brand of kayak to purchase?
