And the violinist is badass, I love his style
I met the violinist last night at a Skillet concert. I play violin too. He's so bad ass.
I saw Jonathan Chu for the first time when he was with Todd Agnew at a Student Life camp in 2007. He was a super nice and very approachable person. Then a year later saw him at a small outdoor festival in Florida and he actually remembered us from camp. His talent on violin is only surpassed by his heart and personality. Great guy!
That's a good question. He's been in the band now for 4 years. I've never asked him, but I just might the next time I talk to him. I have heard him say that just Jon and Korey usually do the radio interviews and things like that though.
Awsome!! Skillet RockKKKS!!!
I knew Jonatha Chu as a Teenager through our mutual teacher Libby Armour in memphis
Glad you got to see him with Skillet....he's awesome to see play isn't he? I'll tell him about your comment the next time I see him!
Get out!!! You're friends with Chu?! Lucky!
Ive hung with the whole band
Awesome band, I just feel like Jen should put a little more character and soul in her drumming, haha she is just a little sloppy, would’ve been nice to see someone like Will Hunt from evanescence in a band like this, knows the exact point where to use double bass fills, make the music sound way more powerful
No.
She is not a bad drummer, but it’s like I said, she’s just another drummer, will is way more pleasing to watch, like I can watch him all day, when you hear songs he plays you know it’s him, there are a lot of drummers like that, just my opinion
Skillet is just not the same without him :(
Without uim him, the Band uses violin playback, probably
i did not see jonathan in the unleashed album and different concert? where did he go?
He's now touring with Kari Jobe.
His dad died of cancer. He wrote on his blog that he is taking a break from tours and parting with skillet for good:

So why is Chu never in any podcasts of the band?
