Yeah seen a few of them fishing off boats. Those eels definitely look like snakes. Great catch with the Bonita.

@@OceanzBounty yes I've only seen them at night swimming around the lighted area around the boat.
Looks like a sharptail eel (Myrichthys breviceps).
I've caught tons of eels in bermuda but never seen that type, keep it up!

Yeah fishing has been real rough lately😩but I can always count on my brother to catch something, I swear it’s like he can talk to fish sometimes lol

Saw one of these off of Clearwater beach a while back, swore it was a snake too.
Oh i probably would’ve jumped right outta the water if I saw that at Clearwater water😆
The eel yall caught is a sharptail eel. Their bite gives a nasty infection
