My heart breaks for this show. The best piece of television in probably all of American TV history.

The song has a sadness in it that is approriate for someone who fought in a war and lodt. Her voice is right for the emotion.

Loved it. I loved the raw, bare-bones feel to your voice, singing and music. Very much like how the theme song is performed. I love your original additions to the lyrics, as well as the inclusion of the Ballad of Serenity. ^_^

I didn't discover Firefly or Serenity until 2009 so never had to suffer the cancellation at the time but even as late browncoat, it still absolutely breaks my heart when I watch Firefly and Serenity, knowing that what we got is all that there will be.

Barring any in-studio fighting like happened to "Space Above and Beyond", the reason they cancelled Firefly was simple; varying mileage. That is, some people hear what this show was about and go "Cowboys? In space?! Oh, that's just awesome!" But a hell of a lot of other people react, "Cowboys in space? Meh, lame." Unfortunately, someone at Fox must have been a "Meh," rather than an "Awesome!"
yeah the was more to the song this was the original lyrics and the director said that there was not enough time to have the full song so he just had the corus in the credits. a shame cuz i like the guy's voice that did the credit version better.
imagine if they got the singer of the original theme to do this song
