To this day, Public Entity Saba honors all government employees on their birthdays with a photo with the governor, and a proclamation. ~Bill Stephens, hopefully a future Saban. On 31 December 2020, I would like to wish all Sabans a healthy and happy 2021!!

Why are there so many available women? Do they not marry local men?

The film starts by saying that Saba women outnumber men by 20 to 1.

My guess is that the local men have gone away to work.

@@donaldinho62 Yes, The Men would always work every single day out at sea or like my Male Ancestors, whom had Sugarcane Plantations they would run everyday on Saba. Our Ancestors put in the most work into Saba bc when my Ancestors landed there many moons ago, it was just a very rocky island. They built it up to what it is today. I’m so Proud of the very Hard working, strong Men who built up the Island with their bare hands, and I’m proud of my female Ancestors who did what women should do and raise their families up and have class. In my opinion Saba is the best place in world, and I believe my Ancestors are Saints for creating such a beautiful community. God Bless!
