I used to hate black olives as a kid and now I love them! So good in pasta salad or on pizza. I still hate most foods I hated as a kid, but I sure love them now.
I used to get scheduled to work as a friend at Garden Grill during my time as a CP. It was always such a good time! The cool down room faced the living with the land ride so it was fun to watch the boats go by. ❤
Epcot recently celebrated its 40 yr Anniversary. I even got a loungefly bag that says Epcot40

We love Garden Grill! We went during covid and the characters stood behind us but it was still fun! The salad is amazing too! So fresh and sooo good!
Soar'n is my favorite ride! C'mon Casey, if you can go sky diving, you can do Soar'n! And think about it, Kyle will be there with you holding your hand for support. ❤️

Garden grill holds a special place in our hearts, it’s the first place our son met Mickey and friends when he was 2.5yrs old. It’s not the most amazing dinner but a must do with little kids.
I will tell you how I do it all day. I will never go in summer again! Now if I lived there I would get passes and go but break it up!
Stand your ground Casey my husband doesn’t like soarin ,he holds my handbag and I go on it on my own. I do tower of terror on my own and rocking rolcking roller coaster! Ice wine is really sweet !

I've eaten at Garden Grill all of two times; the last one was many years ago. The food is good and fresh from the nearby garden, and the characters are friendly and fun. + $$$. Casey, Soarin' is sitting on a park bench & watching a movie, an IMAX style movie. DO IT! It's a beautiful experience with nothing to fear except fear itself. 🙂🤔🤗
Our family's absolute favorite is the garden Grill. We love the food we love going through the land and seeing the house from above and the character dining is just amazing. We have done this with our kids since they were five years old and now they are 30 and we all still love it so much.

I’m so shocked that you haven’t dined at Garden Grill before. It’s always one of my favorite plays to dine. The whole design and good is great.
My wife and her friends will be there in a week. Her friends don't think it will be too hot because it wasn't the last time they went. The last time they went it was Feb and not June.

I went to the Garden Grill but the menu changed since then. One thing we had catfish chicken and beef and it was unlimited and then for dessert was ice cream à la mode and you could have another one. When I walked out I thought I was going to explode But it still looks like fun when I went, they had Mickey Minnie and chip and dale.Good job Casey and Kyle
We used to go years ago with the old menu. We have been with the new menu. We prefer the old one. The strip steak they had was sooooo good.
My Family and I ate there many years ago when it was called the good turn for breakfast, we were so glad a man leaving told us take the lower level so you can see everything, glad you guys enjoyed it
This is one of the restaurants we've not eaten at. WE ALL LOVE OLIVES!!!!! Glad the salad is fresh tasting. I think it is a must for next trip! We loved watching. From one Disney fanatic to another, have a magical day sprinkled with pixie dust! 🙂

I melt in Florida heat regardless of temp - to survive, I head back to the resort after lunch to refresh. I've seen the characters at Garden Grill from outside & the food looks fantastic!! Casey, I get how you feel about Soarin - years ago my friend dragged me into the ride. I still have a death grip on the arm rest bars & hold my breath at the Eiffel tower.
Ice Wine stored unopened should last for years, opened with cork or screw top on in fridge 3-5 days.
I’m so afraid of heights and avoided soarin my first trip. Tried it last year and it’s one of my favorite rides. Even my 76 year old mom liked it. I was shocked. You’ve gotta give it a try!!!
Casey…I do no roller coasters, no Tower of Terror, but, I loved Soarin! I simply just enjoyed the views.
My parents loved going to Garden Grill. The food was always fresh and delicious. My tip to stay cooler is to freeze a bottle of water and wrap a washcloth or hand towel around it. The water will slowly melt and you can use the cool towel to freshen your face.

I would love to see Kyle & Kasey reaction to eating at the Blue Bayou in New Orleans whenever they decide to visit Disneyland. They need more shade for the guests next to Cosmic Rewind because if they don’t like they forget to bring out more umbrellas then they will have a lot of complaints with guests getting heat stroke and fainting.
Could those switchbacks be for a future Guardians character meet & greet?

I hate heights, too. I was in the second to bottom row when in the air on Soarin’ and I almost died. Bottom/back row probably wouldn’t be so bad because you know you’re not that high up. I also have vertigo, so rides like that get me dizzy af. But I’d do it again if I were in the last/bottom row. And that stone on the mural looked to be emerald, which is May (my birth month).
Love watching the channel! I always get ideas for my trips by watching. I’ll be there this weekend and my boyfriend and I are gonna be getting use out of our AP’s this year with more reservations set up for cooler months 🥵😂

Was at Epcot on June 9th The New Guardians of the Galaxy Rollercoaster is The coolest Rollercoaster I've been on. Tron was cool too at Magic Kingdom. But Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot was Amazing!

I thought the same thing as Casey, we waited in the blazing sun at Tron yesterday 🥵🥵 and I don't know why they don't put better shade over those areas, just one of those huge shade sails would be so easy! They barely had those small shade umbrellas placed throughout, so I won't be surprised if they leave Guardians like that. 😒

Just a couple thoughts first ice wine is made with frozen grapes. The amount of grapes available is much less so the production is more expensive but $83 is too expensive. The wine will keep in the frig. Secondly Casey will know when or if she will ride Soarin. But if she rides Tower of Terror Soarin is a piece of cake. LOL
You need to have a dinner party with another couple and then the wine would be a good addition!

I went and gardens of the grill for sweet 16. It was a good restaurant. Best experience ever characters were so sweet and me and my friends had fun.

Let's go SOARIN' CASEY! We really enjoyed our experience at the Garden grill. Can we fact check how much food is actually produced on site? It seams like the amt that is served every single day is way more than the space in the Land? Curious minds want to know :) Virtual queues are a better way to spend valuable vacation time! It is stressful getting one - but then you don't have to wait in the hot sun for that long - instead enjoy the rest of the park! I do see it going away though since Tron came online. Me and my family went there and it was fun My Dad will always remember it because my grandmother spilt her water by accident on his lap and it was the coldest day we had that winter in Florida

I think the Berry Shortcake at Garden Grill is my favorite. I would go there just for that-but the rest of the good is good too 😊

I love standby queue the reason why is because I have a disability pass and I can’t use it when you have a virtual queue for that particular ride but if I have a disability pass, I can just book a time I want to go on my phone and then go whenever I want because it doesn’t expire

When your not local and can’t go to the park’s every day it is east to stay in the parks all day because that will be your one trip for a year.
Girl I hate heights too! And trust me way more then you.. I went on guardians and pandora and almost died. But I can do soarin… I just have to close my eyes on some parts. I did the other two cause you don’t know if don’t try 😉

We rode Mission Space a bunch back when there WAS no wussy version and it wasn't that big of a deal. I think people are scared of it now just because of reputation, not because they tried it and didn't like it. C'mon people its a Disney ride, you know it can't be that bad.

NOOOO say it wont be so yet. I need Guardians to stay on virtual cue until August when we get there. I like virtual cues. Then you dont have to stand in such long lines. We know about the heat - we come in August and it is rough and we stay from open to close in that heat. Just drink lots of water and take breaks in the stores or indoor shows. Cant wait.
