I experienced this this in Hongkong in 2014, Kirin was offering the 'Frozen Kirin'. I bought an immaculate (almost new) American snow cone / ice shaver at a car boot sale last year for £1.
The seller said it was too noisy and threw ice everywhere... no surprise as someone had cut of the 110V plug off and stuck on an UK plug and shoved 230V up it!
I replaced the plug with a US one and used my UK to US power converter and it worked brilliantly and has been working fine ever since.
Pour Kahlua, Baileys or Amarula over for the adults 😁
I've not drank for about 8 years, but now I really fancy a beer lol!
Don't do it, I feel it too
This video made me think of the brewery I work at. We tried one summer renting a daqari maschine and making beer slushies out of our kettle sour! It was a huge hit. Gonna have to pick up one of these and give it a go with some of our new beers
I haven’t been “on holiday” in twenty years
Your kitchen gadget videos are amazing man! Do a video on anything that interests you and we'll likely all watch with great enthusiasm.
The way you deliver this content is extraordinary
_"Me and the missus won't go on holiday this year or the next year, as a matter of fact, because I bought a really expensive tchube amplifier, but that a subject for the next video"_
@ChrisHallett83 lol stfu dude. Way to take a joke out of context just so you can shit on it
@ChrisHallett83 Baby.
tchubes? I think you mean valves! ^-^
Finally! a way to cool down my beer and all I need is 4 appliances and expirience in reading japanese manuals to pull it off.
Techmoan is all like, "I see that I'm icy."
Oh, kakego-ri is VERY popular in Japan, kids love it.😅
And your pronounciation of 'Kirin' is just fine, nothing wrong with it.😉👍
2:00 Goddamned Coronavirus! I thought that girl was wearing a face mask!
Have a glance at the debris floating around in the strawberry bottle... it LOOKS like a virus!
I thought the same thing about the mask. LOL
@sbcontt YT Ha, I was just discussing this with my wife. We are going to get so used to wearing masks in public that it will be "naughty" to reveal your mouth and nose to strangers.
In Costa Rica it’s called “copos” (abbreviation of snowflake) and the famous one is known as “churchill”. Pretty cool machines tho.
"If there were somewhere that sold these, like a bar, for example..." Ah, would that it were - haha!
Ah, bars, a forgotten relic before this "social distancing" novelty became a thing.
I experienced this this in Hongkong in 2014, Kirin was offering the 'Frozen Kirin'. Basically they have a special tap in which a pipe goes thru a frozen channel (i guess) and leaks out out a frozen froth to be added at the end on top of the poured beer. At first i thought it was b.s. but actually as it was hot down there it turned out to be pretty good.
The wait was “un-beer-able” on that Ice cream machine...I’ll get my coat.
i like the markers on the video, it makes it wayyyyyyyyyyy easier to navigate
I've been looking for a slushie machine but they're all overpriced. Never thought to look into snow cone makers!
Thank goodness for this video. 2 more devices I do not need to own - but if you are going to demonstrate them on a party, I'll happily try them
I love how silly and seemingly pointless the beer frother is
I didn't know they made a home model. I have ordered several frozen Kirin at Dodger Stadium. Baseball is a summer sport and the frosty head is a nice way of enjoying a kirin.
Kids of the 80s, who remembers the Snoopy Sno Cone Machine?
Still have one!
But I’m actually a kid of the 70’s😉👍.
And that annoying hand crank on it
Ah yeah!
You mean Kids of the 70s for when it first came out.
the only place for reviews that no one asks for but everyone wants to see
"IT'S WHISPER QUIET!!!!!"
That beer sorbet maker is good for fizzy soft drinks too. It also makes a not too bad soft ice cream.
*Grins* My request is make more videos about obsolete audio formats! ;)
& if you combined them with more videos about beer, my life would be truly complete!
I've been watching this guy since the Macintosh in water video, and every video seems to deliver more interesting tech and facts than the last. Like before this video I haven't even heard of a Japanese beer float.
So early the ice hasn't melted yet :)
You're 5 days late my friend - see Andre Louis' post!
One of the great joys in life is when Techmoan reviews kitchen gadgets.
