A basic guide to making a beautiful, casual belt with a leather belt blank (40-0113), buckle (Z1572-AS-11/2) and feather conchos (01847). We’ll also use basic leathercraft tools including a leather punch tool (CSO223), scratch awl (CS04-2) and English point strap end punch (00078-11/2).

Hi, can you show me how to attach a metal button to a belt blank to use as a concho please?
Chuck, if I want to add stamps to the Buffalo belt like you show in this video will the stamps be very dark and hard to see? I bought 4 of these belts to make as Christmas presents. I know I’m a little late OR a little early depending on how you look at it! How do you make stamps look good on the dark Buffalo belts?
I'd love to see how one or both of those gun belts that are hanging in the background came into being.

I see why you would use white glue to lock it in. Would Lock tight work?

I have belt buckle that broke I am trying to replace , but the belt has keeper screws and is also sewn on the end where it fold over (past the keepers). Are there replacement roller belt buckles that you can remove the bar and insert into a sewn loop? Hope that makes sense!

We did a quick search online for "replacement belt buckles with screw in center bar" and a few options came up so you might want to check that out and see if any of those would work for you. If not, you would probably need to remove the stitching to replace the buckle. Hope that helps!

We don't sell completed belts, just the components to make your own. We do sell the belt blank and the buckle separately.
I enjoy your videos, but they are all underexposed. In this one, it is nearly impossible to se the belt on top of the rubber pad, and there is no way to see any markings on the leather.
