Absolutely majestic. Рустам you have taken huge responsibility in its interpretation and technicality and have delivered an outstanding rendition. You have done so with humility and panache, your physicality exults the beauty of the cello (you have made the instrument sing, and with the changes in mode & harmonies made me think at same stages that I was listening a child singing - extraordinary) and your expression are all there to see. We are so lucky to enjoy it. I am running of superlatives to say what I feel. Большое спасибо
This is magnificent! If people want to hear it played faster, then speed this recording up and it will sound like a viola. But on the 'cello, the somber pitch along with the gentle pace is like a prayer. I would really like to see the video, however, this is RUclips! (from Canada)
What a luck to find this beautiful interpretation ! Marvellous bow = dense and strong ! Deeply felt music = always singing heartfully and increasing and keeping on the really great majestic expression as typical for J.S. Bach !!! ( - instead of the false empty hurry as usually played elsewhere..... ) THANKS for such great interpretation !!!
I cannot argue with Y.H. There are so many wonderful performances of this masterpiece, on many other instruments, recorded by great virtuosi. So for me there is no "best". There are many which are simply magnificent. Awe-inspiring, breathtaking, as is this wonderful rendition !
This is a great performance. But I felt that there were several places where being too faithful to the original score hurt the melodic contours. This is most pronounced in parts where the score demands an open E string, which the cello of course does not have.
Dear Mr Komachkov, your chaconne is outstanding. Could you tell us where we can find this music score, please. I'm looking for it many years and your interpretation is perfect for me. Thank you very much.
@@dylanharnettmarshall9700 obviously it's not a ballroom dance, but at this speed the chaconne is more of a funeral dirge than a dance. Anyone who plays the chaconne so slow demonstrates that they have virtually no understanding of what this music really is. There are recordings of the chaconne that are half as long as this one, as they should be. This cellist's average tempo is around 36 bpm.
This cellist's average tempo over the entire chaconne is about 36 bpm. Just tragic. Absolutely sucks the life out of the music. Who let this guy touch this piece?

very satisfying performance, which seems pretty rare, I like how slower pace suits the cello and you can savour it more
I have listened to others but this spoke to me loud and clear, others haven't ! Regardless of tempo of violin and their players.

Of course we cant claim for the best performance, surely no one can play better than the Creator!

Impossible beauty
genial
Muy bello
Please just please record on CD all Sonatas e Partitas of Bach.
The heavy breathing, or moaning, is killing it.
nice cello
Best
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
damn this was good!
Is this the one Bach wrote after his wife died?
the god

I think it's easier on a 5 String Cello which has a High E. Some Cellos have a High E cause they're 5 (or 6) string Cellos
Just listen and enjoy
@@stephenjackendoff4886 Hi there yes 5 and 6 String Cellos are coming back again.
U r correct check out my RUclips channel you will enjoy it
Love your stuff also
Soy yo o se escuchan las respiraciones del intérprete? El resto me parece perfecto.
That about covers it.

can u share me the music score please??@lob20000
Do i am wrong or i heard the breathe of the executor?
Performers have to breathe too.
@@terryjones573 - Maybe it was God breathing through the piece.

Was this Chaconne arranged by Rustam Komachkov?
Who arranged this for cello ?
Oh, it's in the description, sorry !
Too slowly!
Pretty dreary. A chaconne is a dance, not a dirge.
Lol this is Bach's chaconne, not the ballroom's
