Smart Cities Expo Barcelona Nov 2016

Amazing people doing amazing things to enhance daily life. So many cool people at the grass roots level with sincere desires to get things right. Barcelona is one of the leading cities searching for new ways for better days and is host to this Expo each year. Of course, we need "smart everywhere"and rolling out these technologies to rural areas is one of the creative challenges of our times. Everyone wants help connecting and enhancing their lives.
The cities are on the edge of this frontier with growing numbers, critical mass, and growth institutions in their backyard. A lot to learn from the cities that are getting bits and pieces right in their evolution and the institutions, for profit and non profit, that are investing with them for a greater good.
Of course there is always issue of how to keep Big Brother on a short rope, but that is a never ending chore in the digital century.
