The shop is designed to resemble the store owned by Lizzie, a character from the Cars film franchise. In the films, Lizzie’s shop is filled with knick-knacks and oddities from the town’s heyday along Route 66, and the Radiator Springs Curios store at Disney California Adventure captures that same spirit. The exterior is decorated with vintage signs and quirky details, while the interior offers guests a variety of merchandise, including Cars toys, apparel, collectibles, and fun souvenirs inspired by the world of Radiator Springs.
As part of the Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party, the exterior of Radiator Springs Curios is transformed with Halloween decor for the Haul-O-Ween transformation of Cars Land.
The Cars film franchise, produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures, first debuted in 2006. The films follow the adventures of Lightning McQueen, a race car that finds himself stranded in the small town of Radiator Springs along Route 66. Over time, Lightning builds friendships with the quirky residents of the town, including Lizzie, who runs the Radiator Springs Curios shop. Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party is a special ticketed event held during the Halloween season at Disney California Adventure Park. Named after Oogie Boogie, the villain from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, the event features exclusive entertainment, immersive treat trails, character meet-and-greets, and spooky transformations of areas like Cars Land into Haul-O-Ween.
