THE WIZ 2009

Staged by the "Hamilton" team of Thomas Kail and Andy Blankenbuehler, the most recent NY revival of "The Wiz" was the 2009 City Center Encores! Summer Stars production. The cast included "Hamilton" bound Joshua Henry and James Monroe Iglehart, along with Ashanti, LaChanze, and Orlando Jones. Musical direction was by "Hamilton"'s Alex Lacamoire.
