I agree with your assessment Brent. Yes, we actually have something to look forward to not because we have a new coach, but Fran Brown has produced in a recruiting battle. I think Kyle McCord will need solid OLs and decent WRs to be effective. I think coach has brought in some talent but probably could use one more strong OL and WR to boost our talent.

I 😊admit i thought here we go again thinking about what happened when coach p was fired. Got blindsided on what happened after Babers was let go. Then the impossible happened and Syracuse got a 5 star quarterback from ohio state in the transfer portal !!Did that actually happen! Cant wait for what we do on the field.

Now we can say why not Syracuse. But still need debt at the o line to give Kyle Mc Cord protection to do his work!

I wonder how much this is costing SU or it's various NIL funds. I thought we were at a great disadvantage there. It seems maybe the school has decided to toss the dice in an effort to quickly upgrade the program before decision are made about who will be in the super conferences that are being created.
What do they still need? Fannies in the seats. The best programs have loyal fan bases that even sell-out their spring games. We need to go the Dome to root for our team, not have a look at the other team. We need to be investors, not consumers who buy the SU product if someone else has already made it good but not otherwise.
English soccer calls it the "closed season."
