Ahhh thanks. Haha. I still have it. Probably selling it soon as I don't drive it much anymore. It's running full COBB stage 3. That's why it sounds so good. Danny
Great review. I def need a new lipo pack for my goggles. My fatshark 18650 pack is messed up and won’t run the fan anymore and it drains my 18650’s faster than the stock pos battery pack which surprisingly still works after 3+ years but it won’t hold a charge longer than 25 mins. Still better than the 15 mins I get out of the 18650’s now. Lol.
Dang. I think I have good 18650s. I don't use the green ones (Panasonics or whatever the hell they are), though I do have one set of them. I use LG 30Q and they do last me a while. I use a Clearview brick most of the time, so a set of 18650s can last me two full sessions powering the goggles only. If I do use the Rapidfire module, then they will last me one session... if it's a long session, I might have to swap in another set.
PinchTune my 18650’s are good I use them in my vapes and have no issues with them. I think it’s the fatshark case that’s jacked up somehow. It’s been dropped a few times and the plug for the fan is loose. But as far as the battery life I have no clue why it’s doing that. I get longer life out of the stock attitude v4 battery than I do the 18650, at least lately. It used to last a long time. I think I just need a new one and I think this gnb may be it.
I picked one up to use with my EV200d googles. Worked fine for one charge. Recharged it and now the 20% led is red with the remaining led`s being blue. It won`t power anything now and the charger says connection error. Put a balancer on it it and its reading fine for voltage. Ideas?
i had a lot of issues with the tattu goggle battery because they cheaped out on the connector, it didnt' have the spring loaded internal piece like teh stock fatshark battery. Is the gnb battery goggle connector the spring loaded one like the fatshark battery? it looks like they cheaped out on that based on what i can see in your video :-/
I haven't. But honestly, I wouldn't bother. I'd much rather run 3s on the DJI goggles than 2s. Even if it did work, it's just going to drain it too fast.
You can, but 3S is a better match for DJI goggles than 2S. I know there is a 3S GNB pack that guys use for DJI goggles. I know cause I have it in my list somewhere to buy it.
Nice vid first Ive seen from you and subbed I have one with a xt60 and it seems like a good batt but no matter weather its flat or full its always on 75% on the indicator so maybe I got a dud or just better to use my batt checker
Thanks! I appreciate the support. Glad you found this video. I'll look closely at mine and see what the indicator is doing. I have been using mine, but because I'm so used to plugging into a battery tester, I keep forgetting have that indicator right on it. haha.
bought this and it dint work for the dji goggles it was getting 7v and the red light was flashing on the goggles. Probably best to go a bit stronger on the volts
You charge it like any other 2s lipo. The fan plug is a complete balance plug unlike the FatShark packs which have only two wires there. And the XT30 is the main plug. I just connect the XT30 into an XT30 to XT60 adapter, and plug into my main lipo charger.
This battery is excellent in every way, but it is missing the strap hooks. Here's a relatively quick, inexpensive, not bad looking, rugged, and permanent solution: ruclips.net/video/OmfPkovMLyI/видео.html
Ayy fellow st driver, that thing sounds great!

ive seen them on pyro but was waiting for a review thanks
I'm likely going to run the version for the Taranis X9D as well. I'm tired of slow charging Li-ions.

Is this battery enough for the dji goggles to work and also record on the goggles sd card in the same time?
Because it's a lipo, do I have to discharge it to storage when I'm not flying?

Has anybody test this with DJI FPV goggles? They can do down to 2s 7.4v... but they recommend 4s... as they can take up to 17.6

can i use this battery GAONENG GNB 3000mah FPV for dji goggles

Most definitely could use that. It's about time for one. Can you use your fan with the balance lead?
Yeah, the fan only connect to the two outer pins, ground and the full 2s voltage. The middle one only taps into cell 1.

There are some guys using 2s on DJI successfully. However, I think 3S is better suited for DJI googles.
Just what I need right now 🤙
That's exactly how I felt when I saw it. I had to ask Serge to please halt my previous order so I could add this pack to it!
Can i use the balance port to power my fan in my fatshark?
Yessir!
Question do I charge this battery at 3000 Mah Amp level ?
Because it’s a 5C I just don’t want to push too much amps through it
I slow charge all my batteries. If doing 1C, you would do 3.0 amps at 2S voltage through your charger. Sounds like a lot, but that's what it is.
PinchTune I have the skyrc imax b6ac v2 It’s a 4 Button operation
How to charge this battery?
You charge it like any other 2s lipo. The fan plug is a complete balance plug unlike the FatShark packs which have only two wires there. And the XT30 is the main plug. I just connect the XT30 into an XT30 to XT60 adapter, and plug into my main lipo charger.
