W9 is great, water spot remover. As all acid based products. I think is about 10% acetic acid. ( Table vinegar is about to 4-8% acetic acid) Greta video again phil
As usual a fantastic job. Lots of great information. The corvette is a beauty. The quality from manufacturers is horrific these days... a 2021 high end sports machine secere engine and battery problems is simply amazing.
Good afternoon Phil and Jess. Just finished detailing my car, that 303 Protectant is really impressive. Not only does it bead like crazy and easy to apply, but also helps in the drying process. Glad you showed it on the channel.
Wow, that came out terrific. Too bad it has a boo boo on the rear bumper. That Metal Renew did a great job. Love your videos. They show how to 'really' do the job. Very helpful. Your wife talked in this one. I didn't catch everything she said, because it caught me by surprise to hear her, but this is good thing. She needs to talk more. You are a great team. Thank you. Happy Holidays.
Spectacular job!!! However because of your video I purchased the Hybrid Turtle wax kit to use on my black vette and rover, wish I could've seen you use it here oh well, just amazing!
Man, when you mentioned the windshield tint, I was thinking of the song "I wear sunglasses at night." I don't know why. 😂😂 I really love this car. You and wifey did an amazing job as always! And yes, I remember the sugar boost drinks!! 😂 I had the same reaction as you did!
Another fabulous video You have really changed my mind set on car detailing. I no longer go for “absolute perfection”. I love the on screen relationship with you and your wife and your whole ethos and approach to detailing. I’m only a driveway detailed but really enjoy the process. I’m considering buying the Batoca da, 2 questions….. how long do the batteries take to charge ? and then roughly how long do they last when in use ? Thank you in advance from 🇬🇧 UK
Hi. Thanks. So it’s hard to tell exactly how long the battery lasts in minutes. We usually get about 3 or so panels before we need to switch out, and that’s doing our Enhancement. So maybe about 30-40 minutes. Our section passes are usually about 1-2 minutes. It takes about 45+ min to charge.
That was a really informative video!!I've had my c8 for only a couple months and can see some of the light scratches and defects in the paint already..definitely going to take your course, looks like i'll need it👍🏼 Looks amazing!!can tell you really know what you're doing!!
Love my C8. Your friends at Chicago Auto Pros did the PPF and ceramic coating on mine. Still a pain to clean with all the nooks and crannies, but it’s so beautiful when done. Damn, the paint was terrible on this one. Mine only needed 1 hour of paint correction and is pretty close to perfect. Isn’t that back window fun to clean. 😀
Congrats on all your success. I've learned a great deal from you and your wife and have really enjoyed your videos. Question; why use a water spot remover if you're going to polish and ceramic coat a vehicle? Wouldn't a fine cut polish be enough to remove those spots if a spray solution can do it with such ease? Share your expertise on the matter when you get a moment. Thanks again!
Hi! Thanks. Great question. We have found that just polishing alone doesn’t remove some of the water spots. Sometimes it takes longer to polish them out. So now we use a chemical to remove the waterspots first and then polish and it’s much faster and we get better results.
Hi Phil, great video. Learned a lot. I really enjoy seeing you and your wife work together. Thanks for a lot of great tips...too many to list really. Like the way you cleaned the exhaust pipes. Thanks. Its great watching a real world people doing detailing. A lot better than people who are JUST You Tube detailers with no real world experience. Mostly product testers.
Hi. Yes I usually just top it the next day with Gtechniq C2v3. You can also top it with EXOv4 but thats only upon request of the customer and we charge more.
Great stuff guys! This Corvette came out great, looks like a Ferrari sort of👌 cant wait to get our building built on the property to make the transition to coatings and maintenance. Have a great day! Chris and Ashley from SC
Hi Phil,Jess. Lovely job as usual! Loved the “sugar high” clip… yep for me it’s coffee and if I take it mid cut stage, I feel like I am cutting faster afterwards…not really but glad my mind thinks so at least!!
Phil, if you were doing a full correction, what would you have done for this paint? More passes with the Koch Chemie Fine Cut and orange pad, or would you have used a heavier cutting polish/compound? If so which one? Also, have you tried the LC HDO or CCS pads with your 12mm cordless polishers? if so, do you notice any difference in those compared to the LC flat pads?
Hi. If we were doing a correction yes we would most likely use a microfiber disc and maybe KC Heavy cut. Sometimes fine cut works great on the MF disc also. I have used the HDO, they work great also and the ccs pads are pretty much exactly like the flat pads to me. We just prefer the regular flat pads.
Hi. We use the SPTA cordless polisher mostly. They are our favorite ones amzn.to/3KHrHZx You will see us use them the most in our videos. ruclips.net/video/dDgtPkEKp90/видео.html ruclips.net/video/WNfzUvKUoCM/видео.html ruclips.net/video/pDi6ZbboSFo/видео.html
Really digging that SPTA polisher. I know you've probably mentioned it in previous videos, but how long does a battery typically lasts and how long does it take to charge? That car came out nice and a very unique windshield! Good job!
Hi. Yeah we love these polishers. Typically when doing enhancements we can get about 3-4 panels before we need to switch out batteries. It’s hard to tell time wise though. That’s why go by how many panels. 😎👍🏼
Awesome job Phil and Jess. I have really enjoyed your content lately and distinguishing between paint enhancement and correction. Did you all use CSL on the car followed by EXO? It looked awesome.
Great video, that corvette looks mean. Always looking forward to ur videos and for some reason it relaxes me when watching ur videos 😂. Ur a good person and it nice that u get to do what u love with ur wifey 👍 💯 ☕️ . I’ve learned a lot by watching ur videos.
I just solved a big problem for you. "What are going to buy Kim for Christmas?" You can give me one of those Corvette s. Ok? Thank you. I bet detailing/coating a small car is nice after a big Ole giant truck. Would you say the paint was "hard"? Very cool video. Hi wife!
@@MirandaDetailing quick question. My friend had his wheels powder coated. Black over stock Ford wheels. What can I safely clean his wheels with? Don't want to damage power coating. Thanks.
@@MirandaDetailing I have a lot of love for you and wife but you have always said there's always room for improvement who knowns with a lot of practice you can make it there.
Hi. We used to try to detail mold interiors until I took some classes on mold remediation. How we refuse them. Way to dangerous and risky. Even though some detailers can clean the surfaces, the mold is everywhere in places where you can’t get unless you take the carpets and seats out completely. We do have an ozone machine but only for minor odors and that’s it. But we don’t guarantee odor removal or anything.
@@MirandaDetailing how often have you used it is it effective ? Looking into getting one but just not sure is there any other odor bomb spray thing you use ?
We don’t use any odor bombs sprays. We find they put too much of a scent into the vehicle and our customers don’t like that. We use the ozone for some odors but not all the time. We don’t offer odor removal anyway, we refer customers to another local interior restoration company that does that.
awesome, man what a fun car to do! Looks great now
Love to hear Jim's name being mentioned, he is a true professional that sets the standard for Detailing, not only in England but around the world!
Exactly! I learned tons from him.

On your justification of the microfiber cut squares watch your video at 17:28 as you’re shaking it dropping lint onto the paint you’re working on!
😂 it’s ok it’s just tiny fluffs of microfiber that easily blow off. Why would that ever make a difference?
