Really kind and the critique was very nice. I’m just an amateur, no experience judging or training but can we address this horses obvious look and attitude of a jumper? The sweet boy gets her over every obstacle. Behind the leg, chip, counter canter he says, « I’ll do my job ». Why not suggest ground work to get this sweet guy cantering long elastic strides on the bit? This was fun to watch. Thanks for posting it
Thanks for this comment. Yes I have seen those elasticized martingales. As far as cantering in the counter lead, I think that it depends on the horse and rider combo. For me, at a schooling show, I would prefer to see a well balanced change over a horse that keeps cantering in the wrong lead. Others may see it differently.
I don’t think there was any ill tone or anything at all negative or bad. You definitely speak and deliver your reason and explanation or definition for everything in the exact same tone that you do in your other videos, which is 100% professional and with the goal of educating the rider and to help the horse. I thought it was an exceptional review and critique or explanation of this horse and rider pair or other horses and riders struggling with the same issues.

You are very kind. Thank you
Standing martingale is elasticize, in schooling shows some coaches have mentioned to keep going and not to correct the wrong lead...

Keep in mind your critique doesn’t deliver criticism, tone & expression unprofessional…
I'm sorry you feel that way. I used the same tone and expression that I use in all of my other videos.
