Clay quick question. What was the largest boar you took with just yourself and 1 dog. Years ago I lived in Pensacola Florida and had hog dogs...I had a game bred A.p.b.t with me in the truck 1 day and a cousin from Detroit who didn't know 1st thing about Hog Hunting I seen a little pig on a trail that I thought I could handle he ran into the brush and there was a 2oo pound plus wild boar in the brush my 50 lbs. Dog latched into that dog and went for a ride...I would never do anything that dumb again this was 25 yrs. Ago but it wore me and my game little dog out...My cousin still talks about that at get togethers...and for those that dont know Pigs are very dangerous
nice going. My biggest was 180lb. It started off with 5 dogs and ended up with one dog on one ear and me on the other going round and round circles with it trying to get me. I will never forget it til the day I die.
Im back watching this but i heard Smash has past away ...plz telll me it wasnt a hunting accident...Was it a illness sorry Just we bond with you your young men and your dogs im devastated for his mum you and family
Tragically We lost Smash in January last year. The family have asked me to keep the circumstance around his passing private.
