I would think that anyone claiming to be ADOS is going to have to PROVE it Legally at some point, to claim any Damages.
People will be surprised at who they find their Ancestor are. History must be rewritten, Contracts, Agreements and Treaties analized. Families then must "grow up" the find proper recourse for what ever "Damage" can be proven, and execute on a case by case basis for Reparations From those responsible for whatever "Damages" specifically.
Just the process of Family Research Alone, will be enlightening, educational, and hopefully inspire some to wake up.

We could get free school, more leeway with obtaining loans, being taxed less than usual. @@konroh2 you are generalizing the point I was trying to make 2 months ago. If you read the book, you will see that Bernies whole playbook is based off what MLK wrote 50 plus years ago. At the end of the book he acknowledges since black people don't have a sovereign state to run on their own, there will have to be a combination of efforts and yes this includes the government. Please read the book and hopefully see what I mean. It's as clear as day when you look at the book with the context of today.
2:33 in i have to pause and say this, yes one of the worst things that happen to black folks were desegregation. We went from having our own, building up our own to relying on the white man and the government helped us in our dependence of that. We asked for "equality", to be treated equally but what we get is them saying we can go over there we can shop here we can even work with them but the hood never got fixed the "blacks only" spots never got fixed our schools never got fixed instead we were forced to work, live and be around racist people who didn't want us around and you've seen the videos of all the hard times the black folks went through for this "desegregation". How would you expect a racist person to treat them, the government can't change that. Since then we have done alot of stuff to ourselves I'm not going to lie but it all stems from the desegregation and what happened after that and what we were put through.

This interview touched my ENTIRE heart and soul, entirely. I actually teared up when Mike said, "Be that person for your community. If everyone does a little, no one has to do a lot". I teared up again when Char looked Mike directly in the eyes and said, "I love you, my brother."

Charlemagne had a clear bias when Bernie was on the breakfast club. The questions he asked especially towards the end of that interview were utterly ridiculous and disrespectful to Bernie. I am so glad Killer Mike explain to Charlemagne why he supports Bernie and why Bernie vote is a vote for progression for minorities. I appreciate killer mike for sure. However, I don’t think Charlamagne supports black women, especially in music. He always seems to talk down on black female artists instead of lifting them up. He supported iggy and cardi in a way he never supported any black women. Not to mention that fiasco with tomi Lauren and how he lifted her up and put black women down. Monique said it best in her breakfast club interview, he doesn’t value black women.

Here's the only problem I had with this interview. When they talked about getting 2 mil for reparations the first thing they went to was immediately buying a luxury house, an exotic car, and large jewelry purchase. This sort of mind set will ALWAYS ruin someone no matter what color they are. A person could easily live the rest of their lives without having to work ever again with 2 million, but it starts with buying a 300k house (which will get you a very nice house in the south) instead of a 600k house, buying a 3 year old Lexus (if you insist on having a "luxury" car), and for sure don't go out and buy some gaudy chain. Buy gold or bitcoin or stocks instead. Focus on budgeting, investing, and making modest purchases, or else you'll be right back where you were before the received any reparations. Hell, you could end up even worse if you get in trouble with debtors or the IRS spending too much money. This is the mindset we need to change.
I agree 100%. This was the one part of the interview that bothered me too. And where does it end with reparations? Do Native Americans get them too since their land was taken from them by force? Do the Chinese get it too since they were brought over to help build the railroads? Do the Japanese get some for being sent to internment camps? Don't ask for handouts.... Look in the mirror and start to invest in your communities... promote and acquire wealth and then TAKE what you want LEGALLY. There's wealth in the Black community.... but until that wealth is redistributed/reinvested properly I don't know if we'll ever see real change. The top 20 NBA players will make a combined $700M just in salaries (no endorsements or investments) THIS YEAR ALONE... imagine the difference that that kind of money could make to the downtrodden and impoverished.

He was speaking to the way a lot of people in our community view “instant” wealth, ie pro athletes and entertainers. You can tell by Char’s “big chains” comment, that It was tongue in cheek.
@@boss7482 The thing is even if it was tongue in cheek, it shouldn't even be on a person's radar. It shouldn't even be in the fore front of your mind when you're thinking about finances. It's such a frivolous purchase regardless of the context. He only said it because he knows that's exactly what happens. So it may be a joke in this context, but it's not a joke in reality. That's the problem. The average person will ALWAYS end up broke with a mindset like this.
that's the real question: "When we say we want reparations, what are we really asking for? What do we really want?" We gotta get on one accord and by having collective meetings amongst our community, we can gage interest and formulate a plan of action. DOPE interview!

Dr. Claude Anderson has been fighting for Reparations for 30+ years. He should ABSOLUTELY be at the table with Bernie Sanders. I am completely B1 with Prof Black Truth and The Black Authority, Anthony Moore (ToneTalks), and Yvette Carnell. But, Dr. Claude has been fighting for Reparations 'out of his own pocket', and is the most educated on the subject. Therefore, he should be First Chair in these discussions... Although, others can and should be there also.
That's the problem. Dr Anderson has been talking about Reparations for over 30 yrs but I have never herd any politician have a legit conversation about Reparations until Tone, Yvette, Tariq, Dr Darrity, Jason Black and Pro Black Truth started pushing the narrative

Man speaks the truth any moment he is on the Mic. An RTJ podcast would be dope, but Trigger Warning season 2 may be a start. He is one of the most conscious rappers period, and whether or not he is speaking about the black community he helps me understand the state of mind and to understand humans as a whole. Preach Mike!
