Hes probably a russian who got forced to Play the piano by his parents when he was 4 years old... Or maybe he just studied piano music at an universaty
Interesting choice of Tempo, as I have familiarised myself with faster, slightly agitated tempo. I found you by watching Mazeppa and Sonata in B minor and I'm here to stay. Keep up the excellent work Traum❤️
@@pikachuchujelly7628 but this is such a somber waltz, I like to imagine a man dancing with his love, who is ill. She is weakened to the point of barely standing, so they slowing move side to side together to reignite that flame that was there in their youth. It's so romantic
I like the history of the piece! This piece was found in chopin's house after he died! Then Fortana came and said NO THATS NOT EXACTLY HIS PIECE! I CAN PROOF IT! IM HIS STUDENT! Thats why it has now the Fortana and (normal) version of this piece!
Long time no played this by myself. I listened to your rendition (beautiful!) and looked for my sheets and played this too. Thank you, Traum, and have a lovely day! 🤗❤️
I like your way of playing the notes. It seems that it can be felt that you feel the notes while playing them. You dwell on some parts occasionally and not play it as a sequence of sheet music, that's nice. :)
Now you gave me the urge to play this piece again, when i played It I didn't played It as beautiful as you but since i've improved a little bit this year... Great job :3
thanks man... ill probably break up with my girlfriend this weekend. I found out she is cheating with a dude I invented to chat with her... yeah... this piece ist great right now. thanks
Update: We did break up. But peacefully and we still get on well with each other. Remember to always try solving it like this because its the best way. Might not be the easiest but afterwards you wont regret it.
Well played ❤ God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so whoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Man sinned, but Jesus took it on the cross, believe on the Lord and you will be saved. Repent ❤❤
Your interpretation Is very particular and beautiful but this piano ruins It completely... I'd love to hear you playing on a Steinway or a bosendorfer or in a good Grand Piano, anyway It Will helps using a glue compressor in the audio editing because the sound It's too much bright, but good job
Bro who are you, like no way you havent competed professionally youre incredible
Thank you Alexander!!! you are so sweet :)
ikr even compared to most pianists on YT there are very few on this level

Sounds like you’re projecting. They aren’t Russian and they clearly love what they do.
Definitely one of Chopin's best waltzes
I agree. Also, It is a rare key in the Piano repertoires but Chopin used several times. The very very sad key, B Minor...
@@TraumPianoI think his rarest key is e flat minor or d major.
@@johnsonzelop4259 I have literally never seen a piece or even any music Eb minor...
@@paolo6219 it’s a weird key. Usually a really suspenseful key if that makes sense. Listen to Chopins e flat minor prelude to see what I mean.
@@johnsonzelop4259 yeah I hear that, very tense
I still come back to this waltz and cry along it... beautiful simplicity
More beautiful than your own works ?
@@Dylonely_9274 not that much ahahah joke

Hi Satie!
3:33 - 3:45 there’s something i love so much with the way he emphasizes on the low left hand note !
that sounds perfect for a last dance with a first person you truly fell in love with who you can't ever see again after it ends.

Thanks Syazani:))
I personally like a slower tempo as well. I learned this piece recently and liked playing it a little slower than is common too.
Waltzes were dance music. I like to imagine a tempo that someone can dance to.

The most beautiful musician in the world
Thank you :)
I used to feel depressed in my teens when I listen to Chopin. Now in my sixties, I don't feel this sad at all. It's beautiful, and beautifully played.
Fav sad chopin waltzes:

Very interesting rendition! Gorgeous as always! One of my favorite Chopin waltzes.
Thank you, Stephen! Yes, It's a really beautiful Waltz...
This such a beautiful interpretation, only a skilled player can make such a simple piece so elegant.
Thanks! ;)
I first read as “only a serial killer” 😂. Got it now 👍🏼
Fantastic, I play this piece at school, is beautiful 😉
Hi Leonardo, You have so many repertoires!! 👍
It's raining, listening this music.
So good.
This is so beautiful! Very nice playing. I hadn’t actually heard this waltz before.
Thanks Ayham
Great performance as always Traum! I love Chopin's waltzes.
Thank you! I love Chopin's waltzes too!!
The rubato truly adds to the sad feeling your amazing playing is giving off! 😊
50年以上前、ピアノを習っていたとき、美しいワルツだなぁと思いながら、弾いていました。本当に切なく、美しい名曲ですね。有り難うございました。
love when u play the chord in octaves to go back to the main theme, you did the same with waltz 64 no2 and i think it's wonderful! congratz
A real work of art. Pauses at certain moments were executed perfectly. Keep up the good work😊
Beautiful!!!
Thank you!
Truly one of the waltzes of all time.

My most favorite waltz !!!!! Why this is so sad....?
My favorite waltz by one of my favorite composers ❤
I sat there for the better part of two minutes thinking “where have I heard this before?” Then I realized that it’s the demo on my keyboard.
I was looking for this exact waltz
This is an incredible rendition. I just wish you’d take out that intro to another song at the end which makes this hard to put into a playlist.
Wow beautiful 👏👏👏
Thank you :)
