Trimble Field Link - Measure Menu

Trimble Field Link allows users to perform all normal duties associated with layout on a construction project but, it also allows users to collect data in the field or locate penetrations in a wall or other vertical surface.
In this video we demonstrate all of the functions performed in the "Measure" menu in detail.

Point layout system is design for reporting to the Engineer in the office waiting for your reading results then the carpenters can proceed tomorrow after approval by the engineer that is killing time, Should be layout line not points so the work can proceed right away let that engineer come to site and check by himself do not delay the job.
Point layout is a big delay using robotic suppose you can layout lines of walls columns foundation or arcs no need to go to end points just a line layout the snap it accuracy. Trimble should emphasize more on lines not points

I agree and we do focus on the line and pathway layout specifically in training and very soon we will have some additional videos showing these features. However, layout to a point is accurate and recordable as long as your control is correct and set up correctly at first. There are some building elements that layout to a point if more efficient as well. I hope you get the opportunity to see the additional videos we upload showing using a .XML file for terrain and surface as well as the focus on layout to a line.
