- R 3 7 voicings are so simple! Only 3 notes on 643 strings or 543 strings. Root on 6th or 5th string, then 3rd & 7th on 4th & 3rd strings. Let's play simple rhythm guitar groove on Charlie Parker Confirmation. Famous Jazz Standard. Really fun to play this chord progressions.

This teacher is very helpful to explain how to support melody with harmonic chord progressions that sound and feel like they are moving forward. The beat of the metronome is on beats 2&4 the chords attacked on or close to beats 1&3. Pay close attention to how major chords and dominant chords are creating momentum with tension and release. I love the sound of Jazz chords but I’m a self taught chords folk so where do I go from here in fact I just picked up a epiphone emperor 2 pro Joe pass guitar . It’s a big jump from folk guitars.

People, play close attention. Most of this lessons on shell voicings is for absolute beginners. The real lesson starts at 11:25 where Tomo plays EXTENDED shells, with ALTERED extensions and DROP 2 voicings. NEXT stop: rootless voicings, with a more random rhythm (non charleston) hopefully.
This lesson is only R 3 7 / R 7 3 voicing lesson. Later part was just for fun!

in English the word order is different. 誰も出来る cannot function adjectivally, its requires a separate clause prefaced by that. i.e.: Jazz Standard THAT anyone can play.

Actually if you tune your guitar with tuner correctly... it sounds not great with certain chords! So I tune up with a tuner then I tune to a few chords!

Tomo is there any chance you could put tabs up for this?
Only 3 types from 6th string root & 3 types from 5th string root. This way you can learn the fretboard & theory. If I show shapes, then I am not teaching! Teaching how to play guitar VS Showing how to play guitar!

Yeah, bro do it Tomo way. You just got hooked up free TOMO TAB. Then you will never need or want tabs again, eventually. Find something familiar like 5th fret A on 6th string, to relate. doesnt have to be Bb7 and things that may seem hard. If you'll notice in the video, Tomo has a harder time naming fret numbers off the cuff, but root third seven as voicings flows easily without thought. Frets and tabs take more brain power. Music is natural. Rock on

The music sounds simple. If he'd just start with the key, state the chords maybe arpegiate, so I could hear them. Its all the dominant, sub dominant talk and blowing through the chords. I know your the best, but not for me. Make easy stuff hard
