So learning to write is a behavior cusp beacuse it will lead one being able to access new contingencies and environments but learning with crayon was a pivotal behavior cuz now the individual can generalize that you can use a crayon to write, color and sketch… different behaviors maybe response generalization? My answer here is A… using the crayon is a pivotal behavior???
The way it’s worded - it doesn’t quite meet the standard for a behavior cusp. Sometimes it’s situational. For Example, if someone learns To imitate a dance - that’s not a behavior cusp but If the question says it lead to generalized imitation -- if is - If this pointed out - now she learned how to write and can write It alL contexts - it would be a behavior cusp . This is a pivotal behavior bc she is simply doing something else with the crayon - no different than cooking something else in the microwave!

Yea this was a pivotal behavior As she was able to Derive untrained responses! It is not technically correct but it helps me to think while leaning to use the crayon to write, she learned the skill of using the crayon!

Did you watch my latest video on how to pick out a pivotal behavior.
