Can’t decide between D and A… gas and key have similar function to a car🤔

I can actually see why people debates towards both b and d. I also think this Perfectly illustrates why there is some natural debate and things are often not super obvious i the exam. The way I see it is that this is a cmo-t because you are using the gas to drive . The gas itself has no value to you on it’s own. Now a gas light would create a cmoR because it would signal a worsening situating (running out of gas.) what’s tricky about these questions is it’s all about wording.

    My answer is CMO-Transitive
No gas in the car means I cant drive it so "something" has motivated you to put gas in the car. Perhaps you want to or have to: go to work, go to the beach, you have a date (she's not taking public transportation; speaking from experience :), visit your friend at the hospital, the new fancy 360 degree movie theater is now open but its an hour away, or you want to visit your grandma.
Going to one of these places has motivated you to fill up your car with gas.
now, if the car light indicator turns on or the gas bar is on E then that would be CMO-Reflexive (this is signaling that something is going to happen - good or bad... but in this case its bad. running out of gas is not good)

    D

I am between B or D. But more for D because in order to obtain reinforcement (driving the car) I need to first put gas on my car (gas in this case would be the tool). However, I am thinking of B. I want to avoid an aversive stimulus (being out of gas). Jessica can you explain. Thank you so much.

I agree could be B or D- for CMO-R, the gas light going on could signal a worsening condition, BUT it doesn't say anything about that in the question (so idk!!)

For me is CMOR is like a signal something is worse if you don’t fill the tank like a warning is a tool too but I think is more like a signal
