What decade should we workout in next? 😜
Do 90's dance
70’s or 90’s
Michelle Khare 1970s🥺💕
90's!!
Didn't Liza Koshy did this with Zane and her friends
“People don’t really do aerobics like that anymore”
Zumba is clearly the direct descendant of 80’s aerobics. It’s high energy, dance-esque group exercise. There’s even a bunch of awkward whooping.
I was exactly thinking the same thing!
Lmao whooping 😂
What do u mean by awkward whooping?
Zumba sucks compared to good old aerobics.
Right lol
“hi i'm olivia,103, 8 grandchildren“ I AM LITERALLY STILL CHOKING ON MY TEA HERE OH MY GOD😂😂😂
Michelle, 26, cannot perceive when I’ll reproduce …I feel that at 32 too lol
I love that 80s workout videos are always in someone’s random house
I miss all the colors the 80s had
@@UnknownRainz so grey and white and pink
It's because you watched the videos at home. They're doing it in a setting similar to the setting the video watcher is supposed to do it in.
Zumba r pre-choreograph classes while old schld instructors they do their own choreo !! They knw what the whole foundations from Lo-high impact tempo to follow.
@@faith5401 If you don't even choreograph your own class, can you really even be called an "instructor"?
I love how Olivia is enjoying this SO much and Michelle is like "WTF is this" the whole time :D
SHE'S THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN THE WORLD!! ALWAYS GIVES POSITIVE ENERGY!!!💛💛💛
It's sarah Oh la la la ikr!!!💕
@@jayceemccandless3083 yesss
I'm a 70's baby so every time they mentioned all the "energy" everyone had I couldn't help thinking about how much cocaine played a large part in that back then!
that's so sad, you associate working out with drugs. I don't know what to think about that.
@@PrimordialChaos07 that she's right? The 80s were the cocain decade. I don't know what people should think about you reading comprehension skills though. Because she didn't associate workout with drugs, just a specific part of it.
I was an aerobics teacher in the 80s and there was no cocaine involved. Very high energy, no drugs.
I'm a 70's child too and I agree. Because cocaine was a thing of the 80's and so was being slim in the 70's and 80's. Cause I remember my mom wanted to be slim. If cocaine didn't play a large part, then I think eating disorders may have. I think Jane Fonda had one. I'm not sure though. Too lazy to look it up.
See. We're not the only ones who think it. Here's this comment:

"everyone's so full of high energy" that's probably all the drugs they were using tbh

Exactly. It was the 80s, so you know they were probably all on coke or speed.
nobody:
Olivia: I feel like Donkey Kong when I do this
SophiaBee it was actually Olivia at 2:55
@@csorensen06 I fixed it thanks
SophiaBee yea np
SophiaBee Olivia is the best 😎
“ I feel like donkey Kong when I do this”
“ If the care bears exercised this is what they do”
“ I think I look like a praying mantis doing this”
“ Michelle, 26 not knowing when I will reproduce”
These are all of my favorite quotes lol
Waddy Bear *26 🤯
Incredible. I love a Olivia's face during the Jazzercise video super funny.
*You should train as a firefighter*
YES
YES!!♨️
PLEASEEEEEEEE
She did
Coast guard.
when you remember that everyone did coke in the 80s, their fitness trends make MUCH more sense
carrbarre That is not true.
I heat ya,myself and most of my friends never did coke.
People were prescribed speed to lose weight right? Or something.
That's what i thought when i saw jazzercise lady.
I dont get it?
How did you do an 80s workout and not include Richard Simmons?? Sweatin to the Oldies was everything in the 80s!! 😁
Carrie So was Jane Fonda, Kathy Smith, Denise Austin, etc.
And the original buns of steel with Greg Smithy!
and the Israeli guy in Hawaii beach, and Jake ,Callanetics,
I love these videos where they try vintage stuff.
Me too
I did aerobics in the 80's since I was 13, wore the whole leotard outfit with leg warmers (still not sure what function they served, but we look they looked cool) and now at 50, I can't imagine moving that fast. After having studied health and fitness in university, I can say that a lot of those moves could be potentially damaging, leading to pulled muscles, joint problems... But at the time we didn't care and tried hard to keep up with the instructor.
I wanna see the Zumba workouts from the early 2000s
"everyone's so full of high energy" that's probably all the drugs they were using tbh
LMFAO HONESTLY
8:53 I remember this on Zane Hijazi's channel.
The one with Liza Koshy?
I love her so much and I'm loving this new series 😊
I’m the girl Deborah who did the dance turn w Andre. We are still fit and still teaching!!!!! Txs for giving us an A++
What's the name of that video
Bless you both for this video. I laughed so much through the whole thing. Care Bears comment killed me.
Okay but where was the Jane Fonda videos 😂 my mom had a bunch of them and I LOVED doing them as a kid!!
Georgia Green and Richard Simmons!
@@KathyM1611 im the big man
@@KathyM1611 what i mean by that i eat too much
Exactly! I missing Jane!
Georgia Green same with Denise Austin and Jodi watley
I loved Olivia’s positive attitude through the whole video💖
I taught high impact aerobics for years! The outfit they are wearing were spot on! I have not laughed that hard in a long time! Great Video!
These are insane, lol. My mom modelled in the 80s and swore by the legendary FIRM vol 1 with Susan Harris. I bought it to relive the memories and OMG. Regardless of the full makeup, sweatbands, and wild leotards, that workout is incredible. It was before it's time with actual weight lifting (gasp!), cardio interludes, and good form! No wonder Mom was so fit. I think I'll bust it out today. Thanks for the inspiration as usual Michelle. Love when you team up with Olivia! :)
Okay no joke, but I really love the Firm videos from the 80s. My mom used to do them when I was a kid, and they were KILLER. I tracked down some DVD versions a couple years ago, seems like it was really the passion project of one lady who was very ahead of her time in terms of exercise science. Encouraging women to lift weights, using interval training, coming up with moves that were low impact to avoid injury while still getting your heart rate up, etc. And the videos have great jazzy music fully cued to the moves, something which is lacking in a lot of modern workout videos. Seriously Michelle you need to check them out!
A month ago I discovered those The Firm workouts on Instagram. I saw a random video of a woman in cute leotards working out and thought ohh looks interesting. I have been on RUclips looking up their videos and I absolutely love the way they look. I can't wait to do them. Those workouts look so much better then these modern workouts now.
My mom lost a bunch of weight doing aerobics in the 90s after my brother was born.
We ALL need a friend like Olivia in our life!💗
Yes, Olivia is more open-minded.
Olivia would have loved the late 70s to early 90s, the whirlwind fashions, the positivity and spirit of the music's ,seem to suit her outlook
2 of my favourite things mushed together: vintage and exercise.
The second to last video with the nannas. That manouvre spiral stepping with the ball that you couldn't see the point of, is a balance and lower limb dynamic stabilty exercise.
This was the most hilarious thing I've seen in a while 😂 you guys are amazing!
Video was hilarious!!!! I was in elementary school in the 80's. Everything was super high energy. I would do the 20 minute workout. It used to come on TV in the morning with Bess Motta. Also The Firm videos. There workouts were no joke in the 80's and 90's.
In the 80's there was hardly any obesity and it made me feel fat since everyone was fit or lean. There was so much energy back then and not everyone did drugs. Also public tv promoted fitness so we'd exercise watching tv at home. The food industry and portion size has also changed. Hardly anyone on medication. I guess the FDA along with other agencies figured out how to make billions by making people unhealthy. Girls would ask, does my butt look big in this bc it was considered unattractive to have such a big ass, now people are getting butt implants to make it bigger. Complete 360.

I know the millennial crowd likes to make fun of the 80s, but they should consider that doctors say that their generation will not live longer than their parents.
high fructose corn syrup was invented in the 80s..... and obesity is the result
@@honestytoafault , I read that HFCS was invented in 1957 by Richard O. Marshall and Earl Kooi. It was invented to replace cane and beet sugar, because of the high cost of these types of sugars, and was used by 1970 in processed foods to make them less costly. So no the HFCS was not invented in the 80s proving my point of how millennial types hate the 1980s because they were good times of prosperity and people didn't walk around perpetually offended confused about their gender!
Today’s young people take less drugs than previous generations, actually!
Since my Commander making me lead PT on Tuesdays, on God I'm making the whole Squadron do this....#airforce
film and post please, I would greatly appreciate.
I would like to watch it!
I’m a Jazzercise instructor and seeing you trying it it’s SO funny haha! x
This is my new fav RUclips channel💃😍
In the UK we had a segment on national morning TV with 'The Green Goddess' Diana Moran also known as the Dad's favourite part in the early 80's (mostly due to the high cut lycra and pelvic thrusts). Then her successor took over called 'Mr. Motivator' Derrick Evans in the later 80's and into the '90s.
If you ever wanted to see an overly hyper, hugely muscular man who dresses like a rainbow vomited on him then look him up, hes iconic!
The 90's exercise that I remember was Salsasize and sped up line dancing to pop songs.
you and olivia are literally goals
Hey Michelle!! Can you challenge yourself into getting a part in a professional musical? I think that would be really cool!
Love you 💕💕
You cant usually film plays for copyright reasons
When Michelle posts new video😱 me: yeess new video🙌
Where is the notification squad ?
👇🙋
“I feel like if Care Bears exercised” and “These ppl would be so fun at a wedding” are my favorite quotes along with “It seems like Judy was going through something...” I love you guys! We had to do Richard-friggin Simmons workouts in the gym when it rained.
“Do the pony!!!” Edit: Also Olivia’s calves! Girl yassss!
As I'm in self-isolation now and started doing sport on the daily, I'm more than glad I found this video because heck ya, I'll be starting aerobics now :D
You should do Richard Simmons sweating to the oldies and Denise Austin for a 90's workout video.
Michelle and Olivia are literally the best team
Yay Garrett for the last video, cause it's really my favorite from the 80s, I was really hoping to see it! 🙌🙌🔥
I got u
This is very specific to Canadians, but we had a thing called Body Break and they came on in between cartoons and shows to give us tidbits about exercise. Their tagline is "keep fit and have fun". Maybe you could try some of their suggestions?
Saw this on Olivia's story on instagram and HAD to see it immediately
The “I don’t want to be old.” comment mad me laugh so hard, my dentures almost fell out. :)
YEESSSSSS!! I love when you both make videos together. So funny ❤
This is so gooood!! It should be a series!
Yaay Michelle and Olivia are back! 🤩
I used to watch those Crystal Light sponsored aerobic competitions in the 80s and 90s. I feel as if I was the only person watching those and I have no idea why I watched them, maybe I figured I’d grow up to be in one eventually? They were fascinating. They would have solo, duos and small groups, with choreography and quick formation changes. It was lit AF.
I haven't cried from laughing so hard at a video in years! Great job!
1970s!!!! Would be so cool!💖💖
(Also I love going to the dentist too!!)
Hells yeah- Crest 3D White! I'm w/you on the oral hygiene fixation; I tried it one time and never looked back. Radiant Mint is ok but do NOT sleep on Arctic Fresh- that is THE BEST! Great vid Michelle- loving that 80's style.
Waited for this. So glad to see it back. Love you MK! :)
Honestly I love Olivia, she is the best. She makes it so funny. The episode wouldn't be the same with out her.
Blast from the past! Love the outfit 😂
SHE GOT A CREST SPONSORSHIP?! Yesss girl get that big money
I would love to see you and Olivia try that hip hop line dancing video from the 80s 😝
I love 80s workout videos.. these are the best!!
That last workout video is the most iconic 😂
I love Olivia so much! 😍
I got through the first three videos in the series after RUclips suggested them, while I was working out at home. Thanks for an entertaining look at the history of fitness. I love this stuff. Richard Simmons workouts would be a great topic.
I love your positive moods and you nice you try new things and so did i. I tried coll and i made the team!!!!! Thank you for being great
The high cut leotards scare me. 😂
blossom javen's artistic channel same.
I always love seeing Olivia in the videos :)
Olivia was FEELING that jazzercise!
Please turn this into an entire month challenge of doing ‘80s aerobics. I must know if this truly is viable fitness
It is very good and effective fitness. My mom always did kathy smith workouts when I was growing up and she stayed super fit and lean, then she developed manic depression and would gain alot of weight in a short period of time, but whenever she started taking care of herself she could go from like 160 to 125 or less very quickly and effectively doing kathy smith 80s workouts consistently, keep in mind she has made transformations like this several times, even at like age 50. I did them with her sometimes as a kid and now as a teenager it's my go to workout, when I'm doing it consistently I stay lean and muscular and feel great and if I get out of the routine and gain a little weight I can lose it again fast when I start doing this:)
Of course it is what kinda question
This is a great video girl. I was born in the 80s and I used to love doing these as can be really fun and active and more. Good to see you both doing this and Olivia you look good.
Hi Michelle, love you sooo much , can you make more of the challenge accepted series? I've noticed that you aren't doing many of those lately love 💓
Its_amy hi Amy! This summer we filmed 3 challenge accepted videos and are currently editing them. Each video takes about a month to edit (it’s crazy!). The next one is really really awesome and will hopefully be coming out next week. :) I appreciate your patience! Challenge Accepted is the core of this channel but each episode takes 3-4 months to produce. We are doing our best and working hard, rest assured I’m just as eager to release the next one as you are!! I constantly post behind the scenes for our filming on my IG if you’re ever curious about what I’m up to! Today we are filming a huge finale for one of the episodes :)
The outfit has me *wheezing*
I’ve been hyper focused on projects and have missed uploads 🙃 but I’m excited to basically marathon everything I’ve missed!
The 80s seem fun and like a good happy time, and other eras as well!!, for me personally the 60s!
6:21 😂🤣😅 when both of u were shocked 😮 & doin the 80s workout ( jazzercise ) or other vids that was in the back in the days can be weird & funny
I actually competed in aerobics in high school. Back in 2013 😅 so they definitely still compete and do it. It’s just a lot difference and there are certain skills and tricks you need to include
I love this video!!
I'm from switzerland and we still do aerobic as a sport you can do i alone or in a team and there are diffrent competitions and national championships it doesn't look exactly like in the video but still close :)
I always think of the Key and Peel sketch when I see that aerobics competition!
Michelle and olivia are an iconic duo
I think the dancing grannies videos was probably meant to be more focussed on any type of movement than it was an actual workout routine. I can see how those movements would be beneficial for circulation and as a mild cardio for elderly people.
I remember, growing up in the 80's, i used to watch richard simmons, denise austin and body by jake in the am before school b/c it was the only things on before the cartoons started lol
My mother and I did jazzercise in 1986-87 in Munich, Germany and we had the honor of meeting Judy Shepherd Missit. She even taught her class. I was 10 or 11 years old.
Thank you for creating this video, you are both ADORABLE!!!❤️❤️❤️
Judy: So far so good!
Michelle: Are we? Are we good?
LOL!
Oh how fun!
This was hilarious! I graduated high school in 1984, I was there, man. And OMG, those outfits!🤣🤣. The hair! That Jazzerrcise vid was wacky! I myself didn’t do that stuff back then, I was too busy getting stoned.😉
THE VID THAT ZANE AND FRIENDS DID OMG SO FUNNYYYYY
These 80’s workout videos are pure gold. Seriously though, those grannies were in shape!
Michelle looks amazing in everything she wears
I would like to see you try a workout video from Richard Simmons. He used to be a really big thing back in the 1970s and 80s!
I LOVE Olivia!! She cracks me up!! :)
That was awesome! Dont eat or drink anything while seeing this or it'll be on the floor! Michelle's and Olivia's comments were 🤣
Those aerobics videos in 80s were the best. Thanks girls for doing this video I laughed a lot. Nice video.
Olivia should start her comedy show Or her reaction channel she is HILARIOUS
This was so cute lol. Fashion really does cycle around too. That ultra high cut is definitely in
The woman in the first video wasn’t not wearing tights, she was wearing shimmer stockings.
In the uk in the 80s, there was a kids aerobic show that was amazing-Lizzie and Joggy Bear. Wonder if anyone else remembers this. 👌💪
80s workouts are the best. I love it 🥰
So I clicked on this video for Olivia in a leotard but holy smokes, I got hooked on the video review aspect. I am so glad I stuck to the end. Trust me, the best video is saved for the last two because of that freakin song.
Also, Khare, fantastic work getting sponsored by Crest. Wooooo.
Yay! I love Michelle!
4:00 I love that song in jazzercise
