It's possible to load a clear save from the in-game load menu (i.e. not the title screen) and the game treats it as a regular save. This basically puts us at the end of the game with the event flags for the finale still active. From there on we can save again afterward and when loading that new regular save from the title screen, it's instead treated as a clear save. So by starting a new NG+ from this save and then loading it again we skip to the final boss sequence right from the prologue.
I show my setup here ruclips.net/video/GVQEek31n6s/видео.html for reference purposes tho you'll probably have to watch the menus frame by frame. If you have a clear save I recommend to just play around with that, it's pretty straightforward
You can: If you load the clear save via the title screen menu it works as expected. It's only treated as a regular save when you load it via the in-game menu.

So you can't have a proper save for the NG+ in CS1?
You can: If you load the clear save via the title screen menu it works as expected. It's only treated as a regular save when you load it via the in-game menu.
