this series is awesome man! no one shows this aspect of drifting. the dreaded starting out phase. the amount of time spent trying different set ups etc . good job
That feeling of nice wide tyres did the same thing to me. I chucked them onto my 180sx for the first time that i was going into a battle. Then proceeded to get airborne. Only up to day 4 and im loving watching every second. Great job on the videos!
So true. IMO this should be up there with FPS Russia. funny, informative and reassuring for those of us who are also trying to learn to go sideways. keep it up bud!
Another great video, I'm really loving the series so far :) It makes me want to get into drifting, as I previously afraid that my measly 144bhp wouldn't be enough. If you don't mind me asking, do you have an LSD in this? As I think an LSD and a ready supply of cheap/skinny tyres are the only things stopping me from trying :)
I enjoy your journey for drifting video to be better than TopGear (USA) shows. I give you propz "Di." I recently just purchase a 90' 240sx had no clue I just purchase a SOHC car, but the deal was to hard to turn down. Your video are inspiration bro!
As A low power drifter, you know how to master those grippy rears? Fill 'em with 50psi of air and go rip on your now rock hard balloons with far less grip. PS. I just found these DriftIdiot videos and I fucking love them.
Why is this not an option in Norway? No driving events there? I want to move to Norway, but if something is restricting the car scene, I might change my mind :/
Alot of the drift people around me seem to just go to tire warehouses and buy any tire that has about 50% and comes with a cheap rim that will fit their car. A bunch of them are selling things like enkei rpf01 rota grids(what he has) skyline rims etc. with shit tires on them for 100$ for a pair. They're usually enough for an event like this in a low hp car. I'd imagine the formula D guys go through lots of brand new tires in a weekend with their 850-1200hp cars. I've never been to a drift event or done any drifting outside of an ebrake slide on a snowy backroad so i can't say for certain but this is just what i've seen being a part of a few forums.

We are strong drifters that don't need no front bumper bringing us down
That takes the term clipping point to another level.
This guy deserves way more subs for the awesome quality of these videos
@kaicos exactly! No more wide and sticky for me!
These videos always make my day and I can. And I really see an improvement in your driving over time keep on going at it.
