Thank you for the wonderful educational video. Love the captioning too so I learn the names of the birds.

Very nice! I just got back from a trip out West, and I saw a bird for the first time. I posted a small clip "Identify This Bird of the West" on my channel in hopes someone might be able to identify the bird. After a few days, I got anxious and did a Google search on list of birds in Southern Utah. Among the list was a close-looking match, and after coming across your video, I am pretty sure the bird is a Townsend's Solitaire. Thanks! Also, great capture of all the birds at the water source. Water is a must.

Excellent video, thank you! Our backyard birds seem more excited about the water than the food.

@@BackyardBirdsUS Coincidentally, just minutes before I watched this, I was thinking about cedar waxwings...whether they are in our area and how to attract them. How neat to see they're here!

Oh yes they are here. I think water is the best attractant. They can't be fleeting.

I think I had this same bird in WI a few weeks ago...

That would be really unusual. Did you get a picture?

@@BackyardBirdsUS unfortunately not... I was taken aback by the size and the entirely gray color... It really looked more like a huge tufted tit mouse with the crown (if that is what it's called)

This bird isn't large. It's smaller than a robin. You maybe had a mockingbird as they are gray.

@@BackyardBirdsUS after thinking about it more, it looked like a cardinal but gray... Thanks for the help!

Everything looks gray this time of year
