I think some people don’t realize how much work this amazing man puts in his videos. First he has to buy a 5,000 dollar suit then he has to make the video finally he has to edit it when he puts up the pictures.
He's great! His Tom Ford ones of course are that expensive but this one is actually under/around 1000$!
YES. He really does a fantastic job!
actually 923€
Wait 1000.00 dollars for this suit?
I appreciate it so much! I always watch his videos before buying 007 clothes. Eventually I will graduate to Tom Ford and Omega
I absolutely salute the amount of effort and research on this channel. The suit really looks amazing and the fact that Daniel Craig was the one suggesting the brand makes it even more special.
My guess is that this outfit is meant to reflect Madeleine's influence on Bond. While on holiday in Italy, they probably stopped off at a boutique and picked up Bond a new, fashion-forward outfit that's different from his usual style.
Love the story line!
Got to say I absolutely love this entire look button down collar and all. Agree with you on leaving the top button undone though.
It's funny, I only liked button down shirts without a tie too, just like you! But then when you wore that tie with it! It looked great and I even liked the suite! That was a lovely video as, it gave us all the chance to see this incredible suit! Thanks David! ;)
Great video and great suit. Love the way the spectre 300 also looks with this suit...watching this video for my lunch break😃
Love the suit David. The tie really sets the suit off beautifully. Dig the boots too.
i always enjoy these clothing videos and your dressing like bond videos, thanks for your content keep it up sir💪🏽
I love the look of this outfit just as much as I love the brown/fawn Brunello Cucinelli Morocco outfit. Unfortunately this outfit to me is also just as unusable. As awesome as they look on screen I just cannot fathom an occasion where I can throw these together and feel like they are appropriate. Of course I'm still waiting for that desert wedding/Mediterranean cocktail party invite 😅
If you work in an office I feel this is an appropriate summer attire...
any summer outing really. It seems perfect to me
Amazing content! I hope you keep making these, regardless of what happens next in the Bond franchise.
fantastic video, as always. Thanks David.
Hey David, glad you came round to the suit. I was glad to see Craig's Bond in corduroy for a change. It looks great on him. Suits you too! Thanks for the vid and enjoy wearing that suit!
Thanks so much!
I bought this suit and am incredibly happy with it! I am 1.85, and an athletic lean IT48 chest, took IT46 with the trousers though. Only am taking it to the tailor to open the pockets and have the Albert Thurston brace buttons in. Just a beautiful look and my first official Bond suit!!!
How did you get the jacket and suit in different sizes? I ordered a 52 and the trousers are much too small for me. I asked to exchange the trousers and they said they could not do it. Ordered directly from their website.
@@alexl8328 to be honest i bought it from a fellow Bond fan because of that reason. I had contacted Massimo Alba and they told me i could not change the trouser size. He must have bought the trousers separately in the store (he is based in Rome)
I love this suit. I was unsure at first so I dipped my toe in by purchasing trousers from Massimo Alba which are so close to the ones on this suit as to be practically indistinguishable. But I love them. Thinking I may go all in now especially after this review. Looks great David
Thanks bro!
Very nice! I'll be picking up a corduroy suit or jacket pretty soon. On the trouser's; there should not be any breaking bunching along the heels at the hemline. A break at the front of the trousers is of course, all good.
I love the look from the movie, what we've seen of it that is. I just can't do all that corduroy. I fortunately enough have a linen suit with a very similar color and details, like the ticket pocket and double vents. I replicate the look with a chambray shirt, burgundy dotted tie, and some suede bucks. As you say, Bond inspired.
love the combination, the color, love the entire outfit.
The moment you remember that 2020 is a leap year and you have to wait an extra day to see No Time To Die. 😔
UGHHH!
This aged well 🤣🤣😂😂😆😀🙂😐😕☹️🥺
Jared Cowie haha, I’ve been told
@@dineshrashid2766 and now it just aged worse
oh boy
He’s right, I would steal that suit! Great video David. I love the intimacy of the brand and how accessible they are. A wonderful journey. Pb
Thanks bro!
Cut to the video a couple months ago where you said you had already decided not to buy the suit haha.
It does look great, can't wait to see it in the movie,
Believe me I know....LOL!
Thanks so much for the review. Did you get any further alterations other than the trousers you mentioned? Mine arrived today and fits same as yours 48. I love it. I'm your height and normally take a short in a jacket but this suit I think is just regular across the board. I may get it taken up one roll but worry it will spoil the unstructured nature of the suit. What do you think?
Love this suit and it works so well with the sunglasses. Best Bond outfit in a very long time for me!
WOW>>>>>high praise!
Have to say it is the best since that amazing Spectre Prince if Wales suit worn in Mexico City
Looking at getting this ordered myself if and when it returns in stock. I sent my measurements over and have been recommended the 54. Would you recommend still sizing down?
Qué traje tan increíble, ya se volvió un ícono de la vestimenta de James Bond. Saludos desde México, David.
concuerdo amigo, una joya
As I revisit this video, I found in my closet a very similar version via colors, but not fabric. Nonetheless, it looks pretty close to screen version from afar.
I need Blofeld to strap me to a chair and stick needles in my head so as I'll forget all the trailer snippets I've accidentally seen.
Very cool that an authentic Bond suit is obtainable for the average fan.
cannot agree more!
Great review. Still not liking the button down collar shirt for Bond but I like the suit a little more now
Hello David. What size is your Alexander Olch Avery necktie? 3.5"?
Not sure if it’s the colours but I like it and glad you picked it up
Thanks!
Hi, do you have a link to where you got your shirt from?
interesting that the 48 fits you because you seem like a very solid size 50. What size do you wear for the brunello cucinelli jacket from Spectre? Was that a 48 or 50?
The suit is great ! But the bridge is located in Gravina in Puglia and it’s Gravina symbol a beautiful town 20 minutes from Matera
Heyy when u going to make the second part of this review?
Love that suit! 👍🏼
awesome video
What size shirt do you take in John Henric?
My favorite outfit in the movie
My favourite James Bond Daniel Craig cool video
Completely agree about the human form fit.👍🏻
you need a triumph scrambler 1200 now ;)
Too true!
It's a very informal yet fresh-looking Suit. Not business-like at all. More for travelling (for Off Duty Bond)? I noticed that this modern soft shoulder look is also very much in current style (being early 2020's). If I was the designer, I would have made the Lapels a bit thinner in order to balance out the soft shoulder design. Perhaps buttoning the top button thins out the lapels? However, the lapels do their proper function of placing focus upon the face of the person wearing the suit (so that you take notice of the individual wearing the suit and not the other way around).
I love it !
Regarding 3 button suits and standing up. From top to bottom. It's 'sometimes, always, ever'
Great video, the sales person is right you should take size 50. The shoulders are too narrow, you can see your triceps are popping up. The blazer has a very square cut (which make sense so it fits a lot more people) which explains why you have so much room even if you have a size which is not really correct to you triangle shape upper body.
Looking forward to that duster coat!
You and me both!
Hi David. Is this a suit you could actually wear in desert weather? Corduroy doesn’t seem that breathable.
The right blue shirt is my go to, learned it from the first Jurassic Park.
Looks great def right size just bring sleeves up a little
Good point!
Maybe just half an inch off of the sleeves. I think the reason that they look slightly long, is because the cuffs look slightly flared too me?
Beautiful suit.
Why all the button down shade?
Sartorial dictum would suggest to leave the belt out as it disrupts the flow of the outfit from top to bottom. This is why in the film they use braces from Albert Thurston; the ensemble is more relaxed to the usual attire of 007, but with the braces it immediately has that timeless elegance that we have come to love. This is an outfit you could use day to day and it would not look out of place. I was reading through some of the comments and I did want to ask why do you need an occasion to make an effort on your appearance? I am not suggesting wearing black tie to the local store but this outfit is chic while appearing nonchalant. It is great to develop a productive mindset too.
The suit looks pretty great, actually.
Thanks!
Damage control on price, and where do u get
Great video. Will you be reviewing the duster coat?
Yes indeed!
Loving the whole outfit, especially the colors that go well together. Would have been perfect without the buttons on the collar though ...
Agreed!
Clearly bond is moving towards a more modern menswear look. A blend of Italian and British looks are what is popular. That jacket is actually what I think is called a two roll three. The rule for buttons is sometimes for the top. Always for the middle. Never for the bottom.
It’s funny how guys become belt or braces people and start to strongly prefer the feeling of one or the other. I’m a braces guy myself. Love Daniel’s blue coloured braces in NTTD.
I need this suit in my life man… damnn
Nice suit, I want to buy one.
Nice suit? What about price? Worth it ? Is it strachy or not ?
David, great video (as always) - if not too personal a question, what waist and chest size are you? Similar predicament here....I'm going to either be a 48 or a 50.....
Not too personal at all....I am a 40 chest and a 31 inch waist
@@TheBondExperience Very kind - appreciated David.
#TheBondExperience 16:09 there is the answer to the question about closing the top two buttons of the jacket. Look at the master himself. Massimo Alba. He wears a 3 button jacket and has the top two buttons closed. Still weird though :-)
button down TOTALLY works with this look. its inherently casual. a cord suit, chambray shirt, and Swede ankle boots calls for a button down collar. a classic spread would not look correct.
True enough!
Even closer .. no double comparison
Big fan of the tie, where did you get it?
Here you go......
www.olch.com/products/the-avery-necktie-4?variant=31129453527099
Keep in mind it's the 3.5 inch version.
Price Tag Please David?
I did'nt realise that the garment is more akin to Mole skin jeans that D & G make
Hmmm! Hard to wear that suit unless you’re in very very elegant surroundings and around extremely civilised people! Fun that he does all that stuff in it though!:-)
I actually love the look of this suit. Decisions decisions.
In the picture you showed of Mr.Alba he was the top two buttons of his jacket buttoned. Might be a European thing?
Could very well be....good observation!
As an european... no.. just no
@@TheBondExperience If I am not mistaken, this is a feature of Neapolitan suits called 3 roll 2 and yes, the first button is to be kept undone. That suit looks great on you! Thank you for yet another video
How tall are you david??
5' 9"
You might wanna grab the M rain trench coat for London it’s socking wet here.
IMO this suit needs light brown shoes. The dark colour looks odd. Love the blue/beige combo.
Hmmmmm, good point. Might be interesting with lighter color shoes...
Nice video. Although it’s a nice suit... there is something not right with this outfit in the movie....first.... really? Corduroy in Sunny Matera.... second... what was james bond thinking that morning... “”let’s have a ton sur ton suspenders on my blue shirt to complete the fashionable look””
You're never supposed to wear a belt with a suit, hence why bond wears braces although, I do agree; you should wear braces with belt loops.
You look badass!
this is a 3 roll 2 suit and the upper button is not at all meant to be buttoned
You look more like Kevin Costner than Daniel Craig
lovely video
Many thanks!
Felix let Bond borrow his suit he wore in Quantum on the private jet with Greene!!!
Looks really cool and relaxed but please don't walk down the street in a button down shirt with a tie lol
the pronunce is Màssimo, no Massìmo
Ah, thanks....I will practice it!
Massy-moe
Suits You Sir! atb snack
Thanks!
I don't care who wears it ieven James Bond I will embrace 'CHORD 'over my dead body!
Men who are trying to recreate bonds outfits need to know you need a good physique. The more rotund among us will never make it work.
Looks great 850$ USD though nahhhhh
That’s cheap for a suit though.
5000 down and looking more like scrige than JB
Have your wife change the buttons to blue, white buttons don't look right.
Daniel Craig’s Bond has worn two brown suits/ensamble. These outfit looks odd in real life. Somewhat good for the movie, but there something off. Now, the jacket/trousers/combat boots from SPECTRE is was better; it is ultimately casual/4x4 and better fitting. Not a fan of this outfit, at all.
That is a terrible suit....i have to be honest.
