I kindly request a video tutorial demonstrating the use of Document AI for extracting insights from documents, statements, that might be followed by data visualization in Looker Studio and integration with spreadsheets.
3 days ago I was talking to a friend of mine about this channel's owner and had told him that he is one of the best spreadsheets teacher on the digital. Now I really am glad to see he's back after a long time. Welcome back!
I see I'm not the only one happy to see you back. Please keep it up, don't abandon the channel for so long. I learned JavaScript thanks to this channel and already write my own applications in nodejs, svelte, tailwind and use GAS as backend in them. With pleasure and deep sense of gratitude, your subscriber from Russia.
Same... Your channel has helped me in automating my administrative activity, it had created more than 1mio covid letter pdfs during the pandemic before being taken over by the product team
You are back, I was thinking about you from time to time, especially when I use my Googlesheet. I was thinking you must have moved on to AI stuff already. :) so glad that you are back.
I saw the release of tables in Sheets and just hadn't gotten around to grokking it yet. You've done it for me, and in a very easy to understand way. Thank you! (OMG I have so much work to re-do now...)
Oh wow I havent seen one of these thumbnails show up in my feed in a long time. I first subscribed 5+ years ago when working on some random side project in high school, and then stumbled across ur import HTML/XML parsing videos and thought it was some crazy magic I was populating my spreadsheets with... and now I'm a web developer. Thank you xD
Teacher...Long Time No See! This Video I believe will Solve a Huge Problem with my Little Ongoing Project I have been Stuck On for Some Time!! Thanks...your The Best!!!
I am Glad to see you back sirji. You spreadsheet tutorial are the best tutorial I have ever seen. Also I get a lot of respect because of you at my workplace. You are doing a great job keep doing it Sirji.
I've been wondering for the past few days, if you'd be back to cover this latest addition to GSheets ... Thank you, Thank you Thank you...Glad you're back.
Welcome back. I hope you are doing well. You are my favourite content creator and I have made so many useful things based off of your lessons. If life takes you away from the channel we will all understand, but for now I am so happy to see you back.
Thanks for this very good video and welcome back ! Take care when using array formula inside a table. If you sort the table by a column, the results may be strange or wrong.
RUclips removed the video for violating their terms of service. They said it was removed for posting offensive content, bullying. I've tried to appeal, but everything is automated these days, so it was rejected and their customer service is AI bots too and it said they stand behind their decision. Can you believe it? :) It was a one hour video, it took over a week to make it. Anyways, I don't think I'll be posting one again, sorry.
@@ExcelGoogleSheets Of course you can use the getRange() method. But let's say you know the name of the table but not it's location. It would be nice to have a method getTableByName(). In Excel VBA we can do: set oTable = ActiveSheet.ListObjects("TableName"). Do you know if there is something similar in Google Sheets?
@@ExcelGoogleSheets Of course I can use the getRange() method. But what if I don't know the location of the table? In Excel VBA I can access the table using it's name with ActiveSheet.ListObjects.Item("tableName"). Do you you if something similar exist in Google Sheets?

Do you have a question. Let's say make a table. For the data and column one, I want to pull in data from another sheet. Something like a form response. So every time I get a new form response, the array formula will pull the data in to the table. Will that expand the table as well? And if I delete data from the table, will it automatically shrink the table range? For example, if I'm pulling in data from another sheet using an array formula, if I delete one of the rows from the data range, then the listing column one of the table will decrease. Will that affect the table range itself?
@@ExcelGoogleSheets gotcha. I appreciate the reply. What about pulling in data within the ray formula? Do you think that might work? It would at least be one problem solved.
I don't think array formula will grow or shrink the table. The purpose of the table is for formulas to react to table growth, not the other way around.

Thank you so much for coming back, teacher! You are amazing!!!
Welcome back good to see you 😊
I have learnt so many spreadsheet things through your Tutorials. Thank you!
Thank you very much for yet another informative post. Is there any way to format currency or date or even amounts in a particular format
Yes. Just select the column and use custom number format as you usually do when it's not a table.
Welcome back! Glad to see your perspective on Tables!

I'm starting to despise web development lately 😀 Every month there is a new way of doing the same thing.
The more I watch this video the more I am learning. And being able to implement the TABLE feature in my workload is the best part. Thank you again!

Thank you and welcome back! Do you know if we can reference the table using gas as we can for namedranges?
Thank you sir. I've learned so much from your video.
You are amazing.

wow you are back now
Good to see you back! I did not find a feature to unconvert a table. I think they forgot to add it?
Yea, the worst part is when you delete the table it deletes the entire thing 🤣
You'll have to copy/paste as values only someplace else.
@@ExcelGoogleSheets I almost fell from my chair when I found out! 😂🤣😂🤣
@@ExcelGoogleSheets I love that the new lines added to tables seen to retain the column formatting much better!

Top stuff!
Welcome back.
I can't wait to see how tables can work with JavaScript
thank you for great video.
I would like to ask if we can deal with tables from Google Apps Script?
Does the table content has always be static? Can the content be a result set from a formula, eg. FILTER, UNIQUE etc.? thanks
No.
Where can I find all your google sheets practice files for all your videos here on your RUclips Channel?
Is there a way to dynamically update table headers from another sheet or table? When I enter a formula in the header it is not allowed.
Can i set a default view? for a table ...group by one of the columns, I want everyone to see it with this view
How would tables work with imported data or query formulas that are always changing ranges?
Depends...
Could you please make a video on the sql in sheets video again because the old one is not working anymore

Hello. Thanks for the video. Now is there a way to retrieve the data using the table name with App Script ?
Doesn't just the usual getRange() method work?
