My toaster lift arm fell off on the right side. Your video really helped in removing the casing, then the fun really started. The rivets holding it onto the lift mechanism had pulled out, getting that arm out and re-riveted and reassembled took a couple of hours. First problem with this toaster. Great toaster when working though.

My morning toast just resulted in this same problem… one of the left lifters came out of the rear slot and got twisted up…
      Any insights appreciated lol

I did something extremely stupid. I was using a can of compressed air to blow the crumbs out of the toaster and the red plastic wand that came with the can fell off and went right into one of the slots in the toaster!!! I turned the toaster upside down and shook it gently from side to side, but the wand would not cooperate and at times it would disappear from view completely! I knew I had to open it up. I found your video but I was still in a quandary because I didn’t have the special head screwdriver needed to remove three or four of the screws!! I searched everywhere and finally found a set of screwdriver bits with the necessary heads that I needed in the set!! I couldn’t have done it without your video!!! I opened the toaster up and was able to retrieve the wand!! Thank you so much!!!

Hello, thanks for the video. What type of screwdriver we need to operate it. Need the link if possible😊

Does anyone know how to fix the intermittent problem of the toaster going down but not always popping up - instead trying to pop-up repeatedly and then giving up, unless a slap to the side is applied that releases something that allows it to pop-up? Or allowing it to cool down & then plugging it back in often releases it?

Mine stopped working a while ago on the right hand side. Once or twice it has lit up when plugged in and I’ve been able to use it but not for a long time now. Phoned Breville they said there is no repair on this toaster.

Mine also stopped working, but it was on the left hand side. I managed to repair it by replacing the button circuit board from one I found in the scrap yard recycling centre.
