I'd like to see all the machines and things organized and displayed nicely. Cables routed in a sensical way, machines placed logically, etc etc. It was fun learning how all these work but it'd be great to see how to make them arranged in a meaningful way. Base design with Immersive Engineering is basically what I'm asking for.
I suspected as much when I heard him name the multi block. Same concept as a battery of cannons, missile launchers, etc. I didn't know coke oven batteries were a real world thing, though. Now I'm curious!
Just for a little clarification the Coke Oven Battery is from Immersive Tech and not from the base mod... Just if people was wondering... Great videos Rage :)
Great series! For another idea for another episode, I made a portable generator farm in my game in order to use up all the useless gasoline that was being generated by the distilling tower. Gas can be piped into the top. I made rows of 7 generators, the limiting factor is that a relay can only take 8 wires, so seven wires from the generators to a central relay, and then the 8th wire to another relay towards your powerbank set up. The wires can only connect on one side, if you place a generator down in front of you, the power will go out the back side. I linked these relays to a HV transformer which connects directly to my power set up. 20 generators creates up to 4,960 Flux/tick which is pretty good and with a set up near a large oil deposit your still net gaining gasoline by a small amount. My next step is to alternate gas and diesel power production with a redstone set up and a daylight sensor, having one power during the day and one power at night so that the tanks don't empty out and fill with the wrong fluid.
The dropping conveyor is supposed to also insert into inventories directly below, not just drop things on the ground, so between it and the splitting conveyor you could of done the whole build with just IE, no minecart mess needed.
You should go over the Arc Furnace and cover a lot of the tools IE adds. The guns, mining drill, chemical thrower, motorboat, etc. are some really cool tools that add a lot interaction and usefulness within the world. Maybe you can even make some kind of defense setup with turrets and razor wire. Maybe even add some powered lights around with the LV wires hanging out for aesthetic reasons. Also, Engineers Decor (www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/engineers-decor) and Engineers Doors (www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/engineers-doors) are both addons that add a lot of decorative features using IE's systems that may add some more cool stuff to go over. Last thing there's also an updated version of Immersive Tech called Immersive Technology (www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/mct-immersive-technology) that looks to fix a lot of bugs and possibly add more stuff. Apparently everything will still work if you just swap it out with Immersive Tech. Hopefully this stuff can extend your series a bit an add a lot of some nice features to make a very functional, efficient and aesthetically pleasing base. I love this mod with its various addons and your series itself so these are just some ideas I've had to make it last a little longer. Thanks
It would be quite interesting if they added nuclear power plants to the game mod. Where you would have to mine the uranium ore and process it into fuel rods to use in a reactor in order to produce steam.😁👍
I would probably set up splitting conveyors to make a 1-to-6 even splitter, which is a little complicated but would be fun. probably a 1-3 then three sets of 1-2 splitters. definitely not the most resource-efficient, but fun to do
Perhaps you could do a "surviving with" series on the full Roterycraft /electricraft(?)/reactorcraft modpack (maybe some kind of logistics mod thrown in for automations sake) (yes I know you have already done roterycraft but maybe you could do something like this series but for that modpack).
@@marcforrester7738 it's been 7 months but no one answered so I wouldn't want you to never figure it out. You put a connector on opposite sides of a block and use your hammer on it. My guess is you tried to use relays or didn't use your hammer (like you would for any other multiblock).
You could also use ender io conduits with all the same priority Edit: I think it’s called a battery due to the fact you can use battery to refer to a large amount of something like a battery of tests
hi, idk if you still read comment on your old videos, but maybe you remember how much mb/t does a immersive tech boiler produce? i think it's around 10mb/t but i'm not sure
if u hold a voltage reader from immersive engineering... it says it can hold a charge. where do the connections go? I'm trying to power this thing with rf. thanks
I would be curious which would be the best power generating method with Immersive Engineering? I assume Biodiesel but haven't tested much myself. For your next playthrough, how about a Surviving With Roots? It's a fairly small mod but I feel it offers similar QoL features of Botania, in a much more Druid-like way. Bonus points if you manage to do it pacifist.
Without the alternator and turbine, yes. 4 cloches split between hemp and melon can fuel 2 diesel generators, technically 2 1/2, so there is some wiggle room for errors. This is 8192IF/t, and some overflow fuel to stockpile for as many other generators to temporarily run as you care to make. Of the others, a full thermolectric station outperforms everything. For the direct numbers: max waterwheel is 90IF/t, thermolectric is max 42IF/t with just base IE, and the improved windmill is 50IF/t at over y:201 during a clear day, 66IF/t during rain, and 100IF/t during a thunderstorm. However, you can max stack thermolectric towers in the same space as a full waterwheel build, bringing in 256 IF/t which is the max it can output. The mod author is against the power creep cause by "MOAR NUMBERS!!1!!" syndrome, but it makes IE as a whole just feel much more solid imo.
Could you please make an arc furnace? It is a really big thing and it will be a way to smelt the iron but you will need lots of storage because it is a 2x output. Just making it would be really cool though.
hey dr rage you haven't got immersive railroading. you don't have all the immersive mods. would be a nice way to end the series driving around you base in a train
Its low quality because the video just went live :) it takes youtube an hour or so after processing to have full quality. Usually it isnt an issue if the video is scheduled to go public since it will have plenty of time to process, but when it goes directly public, the quality does lag for a bit until YT catches up.

Doing this might also make a good reason to get into the Alternating Current portion that you haven't gotten into yet.
The reason why it's called a battery is because it fits the definition of "a set of units of equipment, typically when connected together.
"
Also, coke oven batteries are a real thing!
I suspected as much when I heard him name the multi block. Same concept as a battery of cannons, missile launchers, etc. I didn't know coke oven batteries were a real world thing, though. Now I'm curious!
Thanks for caring about us and thinking about what WE wanna see
Like your content and hope you are staying safe too
Fun fact: coke oven batteries (in the sense multiple coke ovens in series) exist irl. And look similar to the IE one.
Just for a little clarification the Coke Oven Battery is from Immersive Tech and not from the base mod... Just if people was wondering... Great videos Rage :)
*questionably immersive. The improved coke oven is from immersive tech.
@@pppoopoo4880 Oh you're right... Forgot about that mod... Sad to see another Flaxbeard mod not getting updated...
gotta love Immersive Engineering

I hope you will make another series with Immersive Engineering, and have Immersive Intelligence!
I returned once again to modded after watching your videos. Keep it up!
Rage after you finish this series make playthrough of NuclearCraft or Advanced Rocketry (or Galacticraft)
The dropping conveyor is supposed to also insert into inventories directly below, not just drop things on the ground, so between it and the splitting conveyor you could of done the whole build with just IE, no minecart mess needed.
Coke Battery: For people who really, really need Creosote, Charcoal or Coke.
For the river, why not make it a brick lined canal?
your videos are awesome - excellent learning tool!
you forgot the arc furnace.
dropping conveyors

Would be cool, but i dont think it would fit the theme of the mod.

While you're still working on this mod, I'd like to see the Engineer's Decor stuff explored.
Relatedly, do you happen to know how the hell power feedthrough blocks work? I always give up and use painted EnderIO capacitors.

You should check out the Create mod next, a very unique and neat mod that centers on the use of gears, shafts, conveyor belts and pulleys.
Play what you want. You should add orexcavation next surviving with so you dont have to grind as mutch.

Just yesterday I was wondering if I you uploaded a new episode :D the world sure is strange
same here...
Same
I would love to see a series covering the Create mod for 1.14
Looks like you're in luck! Episode 1 just released ;)

@RagePlaysGames I would really like to see you do a "rage plays" with MC Eternal .. there are so many things in that pack. it's almost endless ;P

Trying to add onto a mod pack, can;t find the coke oven battery
Is this coke oven from an add-on?
Immersive railroading perhaps?
Ender IO is nearly a brand new mod with all kinds of new things with which to learn and play with. if you cared to redo that mod.
can you please do the arc furnace
you should survive with the create mod
wait cant you just use minecarts on a advanced coke oven instead of conveyers so it splits equally and have mas production at a faster scale
huh, i used to be a machinist that made parts for medical devices.
You should try immersive intelligence
ID like wither MC Eternal modpack or blood magic or botania and if not any of those i would prefer a magic mod
Check out Immersive Intelligence addon.
Maybe the create mod is something for you
I was here
you didn't make a playlist of your surviving with actually additions series
surviving with galacticraft
hey dr rage you haven't got immersive railroading. you don't have all the immersive mods. would be a nice way to end the series driving around you base in a train
