This is my Brother 100 percent. His name was Danny. He sent me this song before he passed away he drank and sat at the river he always said he had pain in the mind he drank and worried our mother and when she died he couldn't handle life anymore. So he went to the river and drank every day. Well Danny passed away a day before his birthday March 23 he would have turned 55 on the 24. He passed away from saroces of the liver he was so sad. After the damage was done he hugged my sister and said I don't want to die. When he was passing I got in my car took a ride up to the School and was screaming God why after I broke, I headed back to watch my little brother pass away.. Rest in peace Danny Allen the pain of the mind is at rest

Working with the non sheltered population downtown Nashville has humbled me to my very core. A lot of them live on the Cumberland river. This is one of the most powerful song I believe I have ever listened to. Being an alcoholic myself for 8 years I know the struggles. It was when I sincerely repented of my sins ,turned away from my sinful ways and placed all my faith and trust in Jesus that I was able to let go of my own will and focus on doing the will of God. I am now a downtown ambassador and it’s right where God wants me to be in life at this point. In many ways the non sheltered saved me along the way. One of them is my little brother. Pray for me to have courage to keep sharing the Gospel and pray for those living in darkness may come to the light. Have a blessed day!!!
