Hi there, thank you so much for your passion and honesty. We truly appreciate your support from day one. We truly believe that with time people will understand and appreciate this classic collection much more. Just as it happened with Russian Musk 1 vs Siberian Musk, Ottoman Empire 2 vs OE1 or Atlantic Ambergris. First impressions often sound like... thin, lighter, watered down, weak. Then after time passes it is called refined, elegant and stunning. The nature of vintage rare very high quality ingredients always takes time to digest and understand. Some find vintage materials and more natural oils less rich and appealing comparing to freshly distilled or the ones boosted with synthetics and it is understandable. Over 100 years old neroli, over 20 years old sandalwood in RM2 more natural rose oil in OE3 all are responsible for the changes. We are happy that you openly discuss the differences and those differences are exactly the reason why we separate these fragrances and call them part 1, part 2 ext. We like to look at complex compositions as we look at people. Those evolve, change and mature. We never expect our new born baby be the same as 3 or 5 years old child =)
I have just received a sample of Russian Musk 1 and compared it to my Russian Musk 2..omg the original is stunning! Not saying I dislike version 2 BUT that opening on the original is divine and I`m really hoping the newie macerates into SOMEWHAT the same as the OG?
@@petejames440 part 2 is not the same and it will not become the same. It definitely will change, grow and mature and then you can decide if you like it more or less according to your personal taste. Some already concluded that they prefer part2, others prefer part1, some apreciate each version for their differences.
Thanks for stopping by! Areej Le Doré will always be the house that opened our noses and minds to a whole other world of perfumery, and we will always be excited to try Russian Adam's creations, and follow his journey as a perfumer.
You guys are great! One of the best perfume channels out there, hats down. Its like experiencing the frags with you together, something other channels often cannot deliver. So much passion and dedication. Thank you :)
Totally agree with your findings, I'm going to wait and see how they develop though. I prefer the musk in RM2 over RM1 though, the dirty, chocolate, musky drydown is sublime.
Really confused about the performance issue of RM2 which you mentioned!! I gave it two full wearings and absolutely satisfied with the performance!! Whole day and more!!
I feel like natural perfumes is akin to wine, it has the ability to age and change even over a decade but then also, wouldve love to hear or see your reaction of this on skin as opposed to paper if your reaction wouldve been different. RM II literally changed from my nose from 1st to second wear
I appreciate that I was able to get OE 3 and OZ 2. The artisan craftsmanship is unmatched. Even with Grandenia, I was amazed by the beauty, it being my least favored to try on. A theory is to try any frag from any house. And that fragrance will be the gauge for the entire house. You will get a gist. A first impression that is really consistent to compare from. Areej le dore stands at the top of the list, blowing majority of the field in to insignificance. Saving money cutting out a lot of fatty blin buys.
I agree, I feel this new classic collection was a bit “thin” almost like he went for quantity over quality which is not at all what I associate Russian Adam for but I was disappointed. I also hoped for something wow and didn’t get it with all 3. I hope the next creations are more rich and different.
Don't give up on Russian Musk II quite yet. My Russian Musk 1 went through some amazing changes. Listen to Russian Adam and give this one a chance to blossom. I bet you'll look back on this one differently in a year.
I bought RMII and was also disappointed by the aroma profile (too sweet) and for longevity. Even the musk dry down was below par compared to Siberian Summer. Im hoping it will mature and improve with it and the sprayer is amazing I agree
its funny the way you talk about OE1 is how I smell 3. its a load of rich spice then more Frangipani that rose which comes in later. I wonder if the airation from being decanted opened it up a bit more?
Scratch that, just sprayed it again & it’s much lighter and rosey that the 1st week I had it. I was talking to Brian (nknn) and both of us got more frangipani than rose. Still gonna add some deer musk 😂
I have the original RM and this release RM II. Both are really different. The current release is more citrusy , effervesent and lighter ( not in a negative sense ) . RM II is more wearable and probably the first creation of Russian Adams which can be wore round the year. But also , if someone wants to get a taste of the real musk creation of Russian Adams, then RM II is the one to go for. The musky piney appeal of RM is unforgettable.
Hello, I was wondering now,2 years later, how do you feel about ottoman empire iii if you still own it? has it aged well? asking cause i own it and am worried im missing out on superior blends with OE2
@@WaftsfromTheLoft I never smelled the original, actually my opinion is influenced by comments from people who have been testing all the collections. I've always got the impression that things like Inverno, Atlantic Ambergris or SM itself are the most appreciated of all them.
I guess all things in the natural world by definition change over time ,food ,drink ,scents, and not least ourselves time and tide wait for no man or natural decay I guess ✌️
I don't understand the disdain for Ensar Oud. His average price is not $1500. It is $600 (not cheap !). The rare wild ouds he uses are quite expensive. ALD does not use that level of oud, sorry. I'm a big fan of yours.
I sat out on the 4th collection and ended up buying Baikal Gris from his website long after the other 3 were gone, an unwanted bottle at the time. Now there are people seeking this bottle out. Cuir de Russie is still available.
You have to time it right and be ready on the website. The latest composition, CdN, sold out in 10 ml in minutes, but there were still 48 ml bottles available to buy from the website this morning (hours later). You just never know how it’s going to go so if the notes of an upcoming release sound good to you, put the release date and time on your calendar and be ready to buy immediately.

The last sentence sums up everything. Imo oe3 will be regarded same way as people do oe 2 or oe 1 now.
Well said brother Adam.aroma from heaven

Oud Zhen is absolutely remarkable to my nose. RM2 is also very good…OE3 is my least favorite of the new classics as I find OE2 more dynamic and alive.
Totally agree with your findings, I'm going to wait and see how they develop though. I prefer the musk in RM2 over RM1 though, the dirty, chocolate, musky drydown is sublime.
I haven't managed to sell my RM2 bottle yet, so I guess I'll be seeing how it develops for now!
@@WaftsfromTheLoft I too contemplated moving mine on but I think I will put it away and see how it changes...
Yes true I don’t like the opening it’s too citrusy, but the dry down is amazing, it’s chocolaty musky.
The dry down in Russian musk 2 is so amazing, it is a chocolaty musk.
I hope you bring a top 10 areej ranking Video in the future
Really confused about the performance issue of RM2 which you mentioned!! I gave it two full wearings and absolutely satisfied with the performance!! Whole day and more!!
Perhaps it reacted differently to your skin.
I think it sits close to the skin, I could detect the musk after several hours, the first hour or two it projects like crazy though.

Fantastic video.. aroma from heaven
Thanks!
My favorite of the three was Russian Musk 2, which was the one I thought I'd like the least
Great great video
Thank you!
I’m hoping the classics that rereleased still has that same quality as these had

I agree with you. I felt that these were EDPs not Extrait de parfum. My favorite is the Oud Zhen.
This is exactly it. Just "light" versions. Wouldn't use the word opulent here at all.
This is why I have always felt Russian Adam shouldn't appease the crowd, make fewer bottles with high concentration, let the complainers complain

My favorite company by Russian Adam and my favorite perfume in the santal galore 👌👌😘😘

about Russian musk's performance, I literally sprayed it about 24h ago & i can still smells it on my skin..

I think someone who has the original Siberian musk has the olfactory pinnacle of Areej le Dore at home.
I have a tiny decant of SM1, but I also love the bottle of SM2 I have
@@WaftsfromTheLoft I never smelled the original, actually my opinion is influenced by comments from people who have been testing all the collections. I've always got the impression that things like Inverno, Atlantic Ambergris or SM itself are the most appreciated of all them.
Please guys review some alshareef oudh I want to see what you guys think about them .
Yes, they look interesting, but rather expensive!
Where do you find the forums to buy ALD decants or bottles once they are sold out?
Areej le Dore sale and trade on Facebook
what a sublime channel. not like these baffoon reviewers. treating this field with respect
FINALLY..

Even $600 for 30ml prices me out. The materials he uses are incredible but, in my experience, I don’t think blending is as good as AleD or Bortnikoff.
Yep not blended enough for me
Hello friends how are you?
How can I ever buy anything if it sells out in seconds? It’s not fair. I never got a chance :(
Yes, that's one of the troubles with this house. You can't try before you buy!
