None of these worked for me.
First I turned on sms forwarding, but it didn't change anything. Then I tried turning iMessage off and on again on my iPhone. Then I did the same both on my iPhone and my iPad. Still did nothing.
Now the setting for sms forwarding is missing from the settings all together, and still no messages has synced to my iPad for over three weeks...

This fixed it but it works awful with android! Apple makes texting awful with android because “iT dOESnt sUPorT iMESSage.” Thanks helping me be able to text my iPhone friends. How can I get my cellular calls across different devices?
