1:23:49 The highlight of the vod for me was when Charlotte just sits there shouting, "Titititititititititit" at the Dragons. Imagine as you douse your enemies in magical water that boils them alive, you just start shouting "Tits" repeatedly over and over again? I'd be mortified as the enemy.
@@kisaragireion no its just that it defeated the entire need for the game to be played. From there all you need is a single key, to fight Gebel and sequence break to Giants, and from there the game is over in like 9 minutes. For a speedrun PB that's amazing but its also really boring, guaranteed, unchallenging, and it's an impossible act to follow. I think Jupiter felt that way too and just wanted to fairly and quickly earn the W without being hand fed an instant win
Curious about something. What happens if you're validating a seed for some tournament and end up getting a PB or WR? Just claim it and go about your day testing other seeds and don't include that one on the tournament seeds or include it but don't post anything about it till the tournament is over?
Have you ever done a Rando all Shards speedrun? Thatd be pretty nice. Also with all this food you got at the start, wouldnt it have been worth to check for any luck boosts? So that you get more loot/shards, yaknow
All Shards speedruns will happen eventually! I've tried doing All Shards randos in the meantime, but the odds of a softlock are incredibly high. I'm still not sure how much of an impact luck really makes in Ritual. I've been meaning to test that...
@@JupiterClimb in all of the previous Iga-vanias luck was broken and never worked properly. So it was overcompensated. Luck is now the most powerful stat. It controls drop rates of shards, items, money, and critical hits strength and frequency. I do hard mode max Randos. Believe me when I've said I have tested luck. Luck is the most important stat.
@@mattparkent440 I'm sure it works (it also works in Portrait and Ecclesia), but the question is how much it matters. Even the top Ritual speedrunners I've talked to don't have exact figures. It'll be good to get a large sample size to see exactly what the impact is for shard and item drop rates.

Well, yeah, every gambler quits right before they hit it big.

Shoutouts to the seed right before this where the first thing you got was Zangetsuto and you reset
What happened? Why?
@@kisaragireion softlock probably
@@kisaragireion Zangetsuto is a katana that's required for the true ending, so it's not really fun to get that first thing
@@mallybutdumb6076 ah, so it’s a “not fun” factor. Got it. I thought there is a soft lock issue or something with having Zangetsuto too early

I just beat this game for the first time a few days ago so I can finally consume some of your randomizer videos. Awesome.
"I have the healing for Alfred"
*doesn't have to heal against Alfred*
The fact that you need a shard to move faster underwater...
But then again, we had that nonsense in Dawn of Sorrow with Procel, so, ya know...
Funny you should mention seeing Bloodless in full rando. First seed I ran of max DS was on Bloodless.
8 bit nightmare was a really cool when I discovered it during a playthrough.
I moved to twitch pretty recently and it sure feels weird to see a video from a stream I already watched :P
I just learned so.many.more secret areas 😮
Imagine dimension shift at 8 bit overlord?
I didn't even know it was possible to be elbowed backwards
Do you have a method thats speeding up the hp and mp max up animation?

Portrait ripped off Mario 64, so in IGAvania fashion, it is fitting that Bloodstained rips off Mario 3.
