Very similar as to what I’m doing!! My dad also past away in 2020…July 11,2020 to b precise…a week and a day after I turned 44 that year. If he would have died on my birthday…I’d never celebrate it again. No joke! My dad and I were very close!! Which it it even more difficult for me…to watch him die. But what can I do? Life isn’t fair sometimes! But then I started to think what I could do to honor him….on the day of his funeral…I just said” Dear Dad” and wrote out thoughts…on Facebook…people started loving it and thanking me for letting them kno that it’s ok grieve ur lines no matter what the age. So now…almost three later…I’m turning them into a book…from day he died to the first anniversary is chapter one..and then chapter two anniversary to anniversary and so on. Hoping people will read it…they may have the same questions I have…but every answer would b different…as how it should b.
This is awesome! You’re going to help so many people with your book. Grief is hard, complex and at times feels never ending. Having a resource like what you’re putting together from your personal experience is going to be so beneficial for so many. Thank you for what you’re doing and I know your Dad would be so proud of you!
That'a a beautiful way to honor his dad. It's a shame that his father died; especially, when he could have easily been saved. With meds and supplements that have been around for a long time, his father and many others could have been lived. 😢💔
I love the sunflower in the middle of the intersection. You are doing great, young man. Sorry for your loss.
Truly inspiring ❤ What a Beautiful Tribute to your Dad.
What a wonderful gift to your town and family. ❤
